We stayed at the Feathers in Woodstock on their August offer of Room, cream tea,and tasting menu. On arrival at just after 3pm we were greeted by very pleasent receptionist who showed us to our room, top floor of extension, number 55 with very steep stairs at the top. As it was a hot day the room seemed quite warm...

A lovely hotel in the heart of a beautiful Cotswold small village. Spacious room, absolutely spotless, lovely period furniture. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant taster menu to die for - REALLY special - do have the matching wines as it compliments perfectly. Will happily stay there again

The standard of decor in this hotel is superb. We stayed in room 52 which was well equipped. There is a lovely terrace outside to relax. The wet room has disabled facilities if required. There was a nasty smell in the bathroom and it could have benefitted from some form of air freshener as there is no window for fresh...

We stayed at this hotel when visiting Blenheim Palace - it's in the village of Woodstock which is very pretty with a good selection of pubs & restaurants. The receptionist was a lovely friendly girl who checked us in & took us to our room swiftly. The room was spacious & nicely decorated - given the age of the building...

Excellent central location, and an easy walk to/from Blenheim Palace as well. There is no hotel parking, but one can park anywhere in Woodstock free of charge, and although there are signs reading "maximum 3 hours, no return within 2 hours" or some such, these have not been in force for about 3 years, apparently, and one can completely ignore...

Great hotel but parking is on-street only. Breakfasts are brilliant, as are the rooms. We ate out so can't comment on dinner. Looks nothing from the outside but really nice and we'll be back again soon.

We booked the Blenheim Palace package, which included a twin room, bed and breakfast, £40 towards an evening meal and a ticket to the palace. Woodstock is a lovely little town and The Feathers is a very short walk from the palace's grounds. Our ground floor twin room was large and comfortable, however there was noise from the room upstairs...

We have visited this Hotel many times in the past and went this weekend for a birthday treat , believing we would have a good stay. WRONG ! The rooms are in need of proper cleaning , the staff are nearly all new and not properly trained. The new chief is punching above his weight . This hotel has lost...

We stayed here overnight whilst we visited Blenheim Palace. Even though we had a deal, we still found it extremely expensive. Dinner is a set menu, two courses £37.50 per person, which in any language is costly. The rooms are nicely decorated and beds very comfy. However on the hottest July day there was not enough air coming in without...
