I was disappointed that my room was not attended to on my second day (bed not made, no towels). The towel service was not good. On my last day, housekeeping left cleaning towels laying in the bathroom

Perfect location in the centre of reading where I stayed for two nights ... On site carpark very tight but if you are lucky enough to get a spot when you leave the hotel will save your space for your return there is also an ncp parking right next door. I had a lovely steak dinner on the first night...

Situated a short walk from the main train station and city centre. Stayed here for business, this is a slightly dated, but clean large hotel suitable for a night or two. There is a small pool, gym, steam and sauna rooms on the basement floor. The rooms are small but have desks and comfortable beds. The bathroom was separate to...

One of the good features of this down town hotel is a swimming pool and mini-gym. However, as my ring is somewhat loose on my finger, I removed it and placed it at the side of the pool. Then I forgot it and when I returned next morning to the pool area, it had disappeared. Fortunately, I left my details,...

Very embarrassing at check in. I was asked if I wanted to pay for breakfasts. When I advised that I had paid already, I was told 3 times that I hadn't. This was embarrassing and I was made to look like I was after a freebie. After checking the system and reception speaking to the manager, it was acknowledged that...

Adequate but not great. Lobby and restaurant are nice as are the business facilities. Staff pleasant and helpful Room was, tired clean and OK but ready for a refresh. 1309 right by a lift shaft so was noisy all night. Worlds smallest WC, assume they converted a cupboard to fit the toilet in which is separate to the main bathroom....

I recently stayed at the Novotel on a business trip. The rooms were reasonably spacious and the bed comfortable. However despite a March visit, the room was particularly warm and the AC pretty ineffective. Other work colleagues made similar comments so a summer stay may be a lot less comfortable. What made the four day stay particularly enjoyable was the...
