Myself and a group of friends had our Christmas lunch. Everything was perfect. The table was nicely set and very festive. The food was delicious. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough. It was an enjoyable day. Thank you to everyone involved. Adrian and Lilian.

Excellent stay, very friendly and helpful, staff helped to carry baby equipment up to room. Good food and lovely breakfast and very helpful information about transport to and from hospital. Appreciated email about wether we needed travel cot in room, and concern about baby. Hopefully we won't need to have return visit to hospital but we will know where to...

This pub has an in-house micro brewery and their beers are good. We found all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The food here is great. Absolutely wonderful fish and chips ! There is a surprisingly good choice of vegetarian meals. Trams and buses into central Sheffield frequently pass the door. Very handy. Sadly when you get to...

Very friendly staff/people, very nice food, reasonable prices. Nice to see well tended patio plant/flowers, instead of weeds & cigarette butts. Clean & comfortable bedroom, full English breakfast OK. No car park but able to park in street along side of building.

Good decent accommodation and only a five minute trip by tram to centre of Sheffield (£1.50 single trip). Full English breakfast included (Veggie option available). Hardest part was locating hotel. Suggest you put Wood Street in Sat Nav, as this is where free off site parking is, right next to hotel

A bedroom above a pub on a main road doesn't sound ideal, but in fact it was a good quiet place to stay. My room was clean and simply finished and the bathroom was about the same size as the bedroom. Breakfast served in the bar downstairs was well up to standard. My main concern was the state of the...

A family get together was our reason for making a booking. The rooms are above the pub and next to a main road, with tram! However traffic noise and pub business did not prevent a good night's sleep. Breakfast was excellent, as was the welcome and the service. (Beer was good too!) All in all a great deal all round.
