We stayed in the old part of the hotel which we always prefer when staying here. The staff are very professional and helpful. We really enjoyed dinner and the choice was good. Breakfast was excellent. Everything about this hotel is first class and even on a wet cold day the hotel was warm and welcoming.

We had a excellent experiance at our stay in Whitley Hall Hotel great food great service very friendly staff the only thing stopping it getting a 5 star scoring was a faulty heating system it was boiling or freezing in our bed room the hotel staff tried there best to sort it but it needs a new thermostatic valve.

We slept in room 10 and 11 in the old house during a 5 nights stay. This was B&B including dinner for only 99 GBP a night. The food and service were very good just like the atmosphere of this old house hotel. We moved from room 10 to 11 as the bed in 10 was too soft for our...

Excellent stay -friendly staff and beautiful room. Would (and have) recommended to others. Marmite at breakfast - a positive selling point. Only downside limited choice of draught beer. Our second stay having stayed last year in the snow.

Excellent quality food, cosy bar, beautiful and comfortable room, fabulous service from staff in all areas of the hotel. Lovely grounds and garden furniture which we couldn't enjoy because of the torrential rain. Good location near M1 and not far from Sheffield centre but felt as though you were in a totally rural area.

beautiful hotel in a lovely setting. We had room 22. It was beautiful. Small but boutique. Gorgeous bathroom. Scrumptious bed with cushions, lovely furniture. The staff are all very friendly and nice. Inside the main building, full of character, inglenook fireplaces and a wonderful bar. We were on D.B.&B. FOR £99. Worth every penny. Proper food, not pub grub. Our...

What can I say about this place, my family have been visiting for over 30 years. Food is always excellent and the rooms and service are very high quality. My wife and I had our silver wedding reception here after renewing our vows with approximately 40 guests, and as usual Whitley Hall came up with the goods. All I can...
