Spent one night at The Leopold in my home town of Sheffield. The building is lovely, once a grammar school, then Sheffield Council's Education Department, its a bit higgledy piggledy inside with high ceilings, oddly shaped rooms and stairs in funny places but that adds to the charm. Reception was unmanned when I arrived but there must be CCTV as...

This is a nicely refurbished hotel in an older building. The reception area is tiny and was unmanned on arrival. However, I was checked-in efficiently an asked to inform if there was anything I needed. I was informed that there was no restaurant but snacks could be ordered in the bar or that room service dining was available. In the...

Having stayed at this hotel a number of times about 3 years ago it was good to find that the hotel continues to deliver the same comfortable and welcoming stay as I remember and the hotel seems to have stood the test of time well. It was also good to find that the heating now seems to work much better...

Stayed on Nee Years day, good service, room was very good. The highlight was the breakfast though, very clean, excellent and very well presented. Parking is a bit of a mission and they could do with clearing all the beggars (drunk, abusive) around the hotel.

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at this hotel - it had the atmosphere of a tiny hotel but with the service and facilities of a big one. The staff were delightful, the room was spacious, comfortable and warm with a fantastic bathroom and extremely reasonably priced. I have stayed in lots of hotels for work and this is the first...

What a lovely hotel, friendly staff. A great location in the middle of restaurants and clubs. 24 hour bar, pleasant staff very hassle free check in. With several bars and restaurants sharing the same courtyard no need to travel far. Great nights sleep, comfy bed. Clean spacious room. Will definitely stay again, keep up the great standards. Big thank you...

My partner and I stayed in one of the mezzanine suites on 30th December. The service was excellent throughout our stay. The suite was very comfortable and the split level was made it feel very spacious. We ordered room service after 10pm which limits the menu but the food was excellent and it arrived very promptly. We had a very...

We stayed here for the first time on NYE 2015, stayed again in March 2016 and again on NYE 2016. Fair to say this is our go-to hotel whenever we stay in Sheffield! The staff on check in have been lovely all three times, the rooms are always spotless and cannot find fault. We've booked through the hotel website every...

We stayed on new years eve. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Booking through the hotel website directly got us a complimentary glass of wine each ( which for a house wine was lovely) . We had a lovely mezzanine suite. The bed was comfortable and the bedding beautifully soft. The hotel was a little noisy from the...

We booked a mezzanine room on a late deal. Wasn't expecting amazing, but actually I struggle to fault it. Beautiful old building, rooms not 'wow' but pretty well converted, with a spiral staircase feature, two huge tv's, lounge space, posh coffee machine, aircon/heat which works (make sure you don't have it on heat when you're in bed, the heat rises!),...
