The Cliffe offers a taster menu the first Friday of the month. It is excellent and well worth the money. Each course was carefully selected, prepared and executed. The atmosphere and decor is perfect and the staff attentive and friendly.

Conveniently located close to the town but be warned that it is quite a steep uphill walk to the castle and the town centre about 10 minutes away. Our room was clean and functional with all the amenities expected for a short stay. They have a decent bar and casual seating area which was nice for relaxing on Sunday afternoon....

We were on our way to Hay on Wye and wanted a place for lunch. The menu here looked good and Ludlow is nice for a stroll round. We arrived early so wandered into the town which is easily within walking distance, the castle looked impressive from this side of the river, the weather was sunny and there was a...

Thank goodness for a sat nav! This lovely hotel is set down narrow winding roads. It is a short stroll from the river and a steep walk up to the castle and town. A delightful setting. We stayed in the cottage next to the main hotel. This contained one large double and one small double bedroom. A shared bathroom with...

The staff here are very welcoming, it makes a huge difference when staff smile. Well done. The room we had was on the top floor. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is plenty of choice for breakfast.

We stayed in the Annex bungalow which was perfect with two separate bedrooms, shower room, kitchen and patio area to ourselves. There is a 10 minute very pleasant walk into Ludlow town centre. The breakfast...

Called here on our way back from walking in the Black Mountains. A call ahead secured our booking and directions were given in detail on the phone. The ambience of the place is lovely, light and airy and very friendly. Menu choices were excellent and the canopes pre meal were a special treat. There is a good selection of local...

We visted Ludlow for a weekend recently and stayed at The Cliffe at Dinham. Have to say that it was lovely trip from start to finish. Check in was nice and easy, we were shown to our room and generally made to feel welcome. We'd arrived a little early but the hotel were happy for us to leave our car...
