Located in Ludlow, the Travelodge Ludlow Hotel offers a convenient base for exploring the area, with shops and quiet surroundings just steps away. Guests commend the hotel for its overall cleanliness, noting the spotless environment and comfortable, clean beds. The rooms are generally found to be tidy and cozy, though some have mentioned outdated aspects and cleanliness issues. Basic yet functional amenities divide opinion, as does the value for money, with some travelers finding the pricing favorable and others pointing out extra costs. Service quality appears inconsistent, receiving both praise and criticism.

Pretty standard Travelodge well maintained and clean throughout. The rooms are of a reasonable size and being on the edge of Ludlow, is very quiet, even with the A49 right outside on one side. Very easy and welcoming check in, it's about 20 - 25 mins walk into the main town centre. The car park is quite large and free which is a bonus. There is a pub next door for food and drink, Ludlow Nut Company opposite if you're there Mon - Fri. Overall we were very happy to stay here and would do so again.

We have recently returned from Ludlow spending four nights at this hotel. We found it to be well located with a public house almost next door. Quite a walk into Ludlow itself more so returning as it’s mostly uphill. There is free parking on a first come first served basis. We never had problems. We didn’t have our room serviced the first day returning to an unmade bed and wet towels. After raising the matter with staff we were informed that the room would only be serviced after our stay! A key card is issued and on many occasions the entry door to the accommodation area wouldn’t work. We had to change our card in a great number of cases. The room was just about adequate more suitable for an overnight rather than the period we chose. The bathroom was cramped and very dated. No heating and a very poor shower over the bath. No shower mat is available so we used a hand towel to stand on.
The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and a warm duvet. A smart TV only provided BBC programmes the first night. We slept well
was in a box. Cornflakes fresh milk an apple drink a pastry and a health bar.
This was consumed in the room. Tea and coffee bags were plentiful as indeed was hot water. This is a no frills stopover and should be treated as such.

Room Tip: We used the pub next door. Great food and drink. Plenty to do around and about. Visit Leominster...

The complete opposite of Bristol Central Anchor Road. The room was spotless, large and quiet. Topping up the condiments was less of a hassle as they were laid out in the open at reception. Having The Squirrel pub next door was ideal for breakfast as well as having the bakery across the road. All round an excellent experience.

This Travelodge was definitely clean and safe and noise free with a decent place to eat at literally within walking distance however the customer service was lacking. We arrived and no one was at the desk. We made eye contact with someone in the van office and still it took a while for anyone to arrive. When they arrived there was an average service received no warm friendly greetings (unlike at the Travelodge Wooferton Ludlow which lacks in facilities and grounds but had excellent customer service - we know because we accidentally went there first!). There was no one on check out either making the whole experience feel quite cold and empty and devoid of the human touch that makes an experience memorable. The rooms could do with an update but they have all of the basics you might need despite looking old. This is definitely not a place to visit if you're looking to make your stay memorable it's simply a place to literally get a bed for a night and probably no more.

We had a good stay at Ludlow Travelodge but beware of very slippy bath surface when using the bath or in bath shower. I took a nasty tumble. Also you might like to take your own tablet of soap as only liquid soap from a wall attached container is available. Totally out of reach if you are in the bath. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable

Greeted with a warm welcome from reception on arrival after a long drive. We experienced an easy check in and check out. Perfect for our one night stay. Ample parking and pub next door, didn’t get chance to try the pub as the website said no breakfast menu but found out as we were leaving they do do breakfasts. All the items you’d expect to find at a travelodge (kettle, tea bags etc) clean room with safety measures in place and signposted. Would book again

Quiet location with ample parking. Good pub next door. Fast charge EV point virtually on site. Clean and well maintained. Why go anywhere else? If staying more than one night be aware that doing two separate bookings can be quite a bit cheaper.

Our stay at this hotel was spoilt primarily by our room being adjacent to a busy main road. The room was quite Spartan with plastic chairs and no bath mat or water glasses were provided. However, there is a very good pub next door (The Squirrel) serving good food & drinks.

Travel Lodge Ludlow is usefully situated just off the A49, giving good access to Ludlow town or other attractions in the area. There is parking outside, and a short walk away a Marstons Inn providing tasty standard type pub fayre. Ludlow town itself is either a short 5 minute drive away, or a longer 25 minute walk roughly. In the day however there is a bus service from a stop on the nearby main road to town(probably not on sundays). The room i had was comfortable and clean and gave a relaxing nights sleep

Train cancellations meant I had to find somewhere to stay in Ludlow at the last minute. While the booking process wasn't the easiest and a glitch with the intercom made it hard to get inside, the room was clean and comfortable and the location a mile out of Ludlow but on a bus route was convenient. Good value for money.

It took us about 30 minutes to walk and I had a poorly foot at the time :-) The bus is from the Park and ride which is about 5 minutes walk away. We got a taxi in on one trip, cheap enough, but beware they are also in short supply sometimes

You need a car to travel into town as it’s several miles away The hotel should be able to tell you the exact distance and whether there’s public transport nearby
