As storm Doris hit the UK this was a wonderful location. From the friendly welcome to the luxurious room and lovely warm hotel this was a great venue. The big surprise was of course the quality and standard of the food. Having travelled the world in our time and been used to life's luxuries this chef has set a standard...

Yes, our fourth time at Fishmore! We love the friendly, relaxed atmosphere and the great food. We went with our friends to celebrate a double birthday and again we were not disappointed. Lovely rooms, well appointed, cosy and warm, a delicious brasserie meal followed by a surprise 'Happy Birthday' plate with a selection of chocolate delights, on the Sunday evening...

A good 3* hotel but wouldn't recommend going on a Sunday night. We booked a package of dinner bed and breakfast in the knowledge that the main restaurant would be closed but the "brasserie" was open. Given the great reviews for the restaurant we expected great things but the menu was very limited and the food was poor to say...

We were seeking a romantic getaway from London and heard wonderful things about the foodie market town of Ludlow. Fishmore Hall is a delightful boutique hotel on the outskirts of town. We stayed in a Luxury room with a HUGE super king bed, tastefully decorated in teal and white tones. The bathroom featured a seperate double ended bath and a...

The bijoux spa at Fishmore Hall is very sumptuous and beautifully done out. The staff are delightful and all 3 of us had our best-ever full body massage! The only issue is the cramped changing area. The lunch in the hotel was very tasty. The whole day was excellent value.

Excellent tasting menu and first class service. The scallops and pollack were outstanding as was the Wagyu beef. Highly recommended. The wines may not always have been as well matched to the courses as I had hoped, so feel free to choose your own.

Fishmore Hall is a very difficult restaurant to rate as there is nothing terribly wrong but it just does not live up to expectation. The food is lovely and plentiful, well done to the Chef .... .... but the welcome and service lacked attention to detail, silly things but the things that make a difference - like remembering no ice...

Booked this hotel on recommendation, we had a standard room which was a good size and clean. We had a meal in the restaurant in the evening which was excellent. There was a traditional breakfast choice again very good. Would return again, but during February there is not much open in Ludlow.

......from a chef definitely going places! Andrew Birch is a talented operator with great attention to detail. He is passionate about sending out 'real' food but with an inspired light touch. Thought and care have gone into each offering. Quality ingredients are a given.....the a la carte menu price is a real bargain. The pleasantly appointed dining room has lovely...

We spent three nights at the hotel in what was a thoroughly relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff were very accommodating and could not have been helpful and friendly. Our room was extremely nice and very comfortable. The undoubted high spot was the food. We are not 'foodies' but the quality, presentation and service was as good as we have had...
