Positive stuff first. Shrewsbury is a nice place. Quaint. And an olde fashioned townhouse very near the river is a potential winner. Staff friendly. A 'feel like home' vibe in the main house (as opposed to the annex). Honesty bar where you take a drink and own up to what you have bought. And a good hearty breakfast. However I...

Had a really enjoyable stay here. Owners and staff are fabulous, can’t speak highly enough of them. Purely as a result of having phoned them (to query clarify odd variances in TA Reviews – quickly clarified) they mentioned that they had a deal running with Travelzoo. We jumped at it, got the best room and saved £££s! Situated right in...

Wow!!! What can I say about an hotel that has location, wonderful decor throughout and a marvel in front of house in the form of Hannah. Breakfast on 14/4 in the sunny dinning room set us up for a wonderful day. Thank you all. Brian and Margaret.

Stayed for 2 nights in a garden room. Plenty of storage space if staying longer so I guess these rooms are all different! Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast - particularly enjoyed the artisan bread! Good location close to river - lovely walks and convenient for shops, restaurants etc.

We stayed one night on a Saturday. Location in centre of Shrewsbury so excellent for exploring and restaurants. Decor in hotel is excellent and two pleasant lounges with an honesty bar very nice. Toiletries are molten brown and plants of tea and coffee, no biscuits and no fresh milk which is always nice in a boutique B and B (...

Hotel is well placed to visit Shrewsbury, though it is an uphill walk if you have any health issues. Car park as stated is near by. Staff friendly and helpful. It is has a lovely sitting room, and honesty bar. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. The garden would be lovely if you are fortunate with good weather. We...

Very friendly hosts & all staff. Excellent room with very comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom. Everywhere spotlessly clean. The hotel is beautifully decorated throughout, including our room. One of the best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel. One great thing was the honesty bar in one of the lounges. Large choice of high quality drinks to select. Just make...

Sympathetically restored to a very high standard whilst still maintaining the charm and character of the building. We stayed for one night during a south coast road trip and the room was well appointed and comfortable. I also think it was extremely good value for money. Breakfast choice was good and the food excellent. Would definately stay again.

We stayed for 2 nights on a Travelzoo deal and were extremely pleased with our choice. The one way system around the town is a bit of a nightmare first time you use it and not helped by the lack of signage to the car park. That aside, everything was faultless. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms,...
