We had come here based on some ‘word of mouth’ recommendations that the carvery was delicious. The result was more of a damp squib.....we arrived and paid for two standard carveries and were told to sit down as they weren’t quite ready to serve yet....More

Called in for a carvery, cracking meal lovely pub and the gin was excellent! Relaxing atmosphere and the landlord was really nice along with all the staff. Beautiful old timber framed pub with original features

Four of us had drinks and the carvery. The food is good, value good, staff very friendly and efficient. Wonderful building complete with mediaeval wall painting. Very nice place to spend an hour on a cold day.

Lunchtime visit to the Kings Head which is now looking really welcoming with a friendly staff behind the bar as you walk in. We had the £6.99 carvery which was great value but also cooked to a very high standard and will definitely go back....More
