First, I am technically reviewing Four Abbey Green (the apartment next door to Three Abbey Green and run by the folks over there - but it is a self-serving apartment vs. a B&B). The location is just incredible. You stay in the HEART of Bath. It is so convenient and nice and we loved where we were at. You are...

In fact, much more than perfect. If you are going to Bath, stay at Three Abbey Green. The location couldn't be more perfect for restaurants, the train station, Bath Abbey and the Old Roman Fitness Center. Excellent service and great breakfast.

The house is situated in a cobbled square which houses a massive ancient tree. It is perfectly situated, literally minutes away from The Abbey, Roman Bath and Thermal Spa and easy walking distance from the railway station. Lots of shops restaurants and bars are nearby. We stayed in the Sycamore room which is on the third floor overlooking the square....

Don’t be put off by the appalling traffic in Bath. Drive round in circles (as we did) until you find the right road, then fight your way past the traffic wardens and illegally parked taxis until you are within spitting distance because when you get into the apartment the effort is so worth the effort it is ridiculous. We stayed...

Stayed here two nights, end of June 2012. Welcome was terrific, with Alan and others giving us much information on things to do and see in Bath. Alan helped confirm a reservation previously made for transport to Stonehenge. The inn has compiled a list of nearby restaurant recommendations. We had the Lady Hamilton room, on the ground floor. Good news:...

We stayed in the Lord Nelson room and it was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had to leave early to catch a train one morning, so they offered to serve us breakfast before their normal hours. The location couldn't be more perfect for restaurants, the train station, Bath Abbey and the Roman Baths. Everything was wonderful...

This was my first time in Bath and found the Three Abbey Green through Trip Advisor. What a find! After just a short walk from the train station, I was warmly greeted and taken to my room, the lovey Sycamore. Beautiful room with lovely views over the square. Breakfast was delightful and the smell of the sausages cooking woke me...

Booked the Penhouse Apartment and had a fantastic stay!!! Our hosts were very accommodating and friendly, the apartment was fully kitted out and we were left wanting for nothing. Location wise it is superb, with fantastic views out of all the windows. We had plenty of space to relax together rather than the option of three separate hotel rooms. I...

We stayed in the Westwood Suite for the third time and it was perfect. We also met a couple who were on their 26th stay so the hotel must be doing it right.. Location is excellent and we wouldnt consider staying anywhere else.

My wife and I stayed for several nights this July, a return visit for us after finding this cozy B&B two years ago. We splurged this time for the Lord Nelson, an elegant large room with a four poster bed and fireplace. The family owners could not be more welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts are splendid--fresh, local ingredients perfectly prepared. Plus,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Three Abbey Green is a Four Star Gold Award guest house, hidden away in a quiet cobbled square in the heart of central Bath. A stone's throw from the Abbey and Roman Baths, everything you could wish to see is on your doorstep. A leisurely walk to the Royal Crescent and King's Circus takes in an eclectic mix of boutique, independent and big-name shops, street performers and stunning Georgian architecture along the way. And when you get there, don't forget to visit the Assembly Rooms - ladies, no visit would be complete without trying on a corset and crinoline at the Fashion Museum. Whether you're here to relax at the Thermae Bath Spa, take in a little culture at the Theatre Royal, or shout yourself hoarse in support of your team at the Bath Rugby ground, Three Abbey Green is ideally situated for everything Bath has to offer.A Grade 2 listed building, parts of which date back to 1689, the main house has seven rooms (including two large suites ideal for families or groups), each with its own character and unique charm. Period features such as original fireplaces and wood panelled walls fit comfortably with tasteful contemporary furnishings. Greet the morning with an award winning breakfast, packed full of local produce. Don't worry if you have dietary needs - we can meet them all, given a little notice! As part of our commitment to expanding upon the service we currently provide, we are extending our award-winning bed and breakfast, Three Abbey Green, into the beautiful Georgian maisonette next door (which was once Four Abbey Green apartment). ... more   less
