Had a great stay lovely room with a beautiful large bathroom . The only negative would be as soon as we sat down at breakfast the cooked meal was put in front of us not allowing us to have cereal before hand and seemed rushed. Host was friendly and informative about the area

Many thanks for taking the time to leave a review on tripadvisor, all guest feedback is always appreciated and acted upon. I, therefore, felt the need to respond to your comment that you felt that your breakfast was rushed. We do always try and pace our service to accommodate fruit or cereal to be taken before we serve the cooked...

We were made very welcome on arrival and appreciated the help and advice we were given about sites to visit in Bath, bus timetables etc. The room was lovely - very comfortable and clean. Our teenage son appreciated having a proper bed to sleep in, rather than a fold out sofa bed as is often the case in family rooms....

Stayed here in July for my graduation with my mum and girlfriend. Owner wasn't I when we arrived so the keys were trustingly left for us to collect. Inside, well, you are walking into someone's home. It's comfortable, providing, welcoming and quiet. My mum had the best night's sleep she had in years. Breakfast was lovely, and even after there...

Thanks so much for your positive comments it is lovely to hear that what we do is appreciated by our guests. Sorry we had to leave the keys for you, unfortunately, we cannot physically be here all the time - I may have been picking up the children from school - although we do always try and contact guests prior...

We have just returned home from a wedding in Bath, for which we stayed overnight at Devonshire House. The room was clean and nicely decorated, with a comfortable bed and all facilities you would expect. The host (Judith) was very friendly and greeted us on arrival. Breakfast was great and set us up for the day. Overall a great place...

Lovely stay at the Devonshire on a short break in Bath. Room clean and tidy but somewhat smaller than we exspected. This was not a problem as we used it purely as a base for our visit. Breakfast really good and cooked to order by Judith. Judith was also really helpful in telling us about the area, bus routes and...

Thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us and for your kind comments. Due to the age of the property, the room sizes are out of our control, so, much as we would love larger rooms we are defined (and benefit) by the character of the house. Best regards Louise

Lovely and comfortable room. The host is very thoughtful i.e. lotion, sweets and biscuits provided. We felt so cosy as if we are at home. Very organized breakfast system whereby we need to submit our choice the night before with form provided. Great breakfast with plenty of choices and the food is fresh! Thanks to Chris for sharing cooking tips....

Paid a very fleeting visit as we were busy at the university, but the hosts could not have been more helpful with a couple of issues we had (not to do with the guest house). Bedroom and bathroom were both comfortable and clean and the breakfast was very fresh, tasty and with a good choice. Lots of little extra touches...

We stayed in the beautiful cottage, very cute! Bed was comfortable and cottage spotless and very well equipped. Louise and Chris friendly and helpful, lots of great tips. I recommend the scenic walk into the city, through the park, stunning views from the top of the hill. Very steep hill to walk back up at the end of the day!...
