The Kennard is a Boutique Bed & Breakfast, on Henrietta Street, in the centre of Bath. It was built in 1794, the golden age of Bath's Georgian elegance. The Kennard offers twelve recently re-furbished and individually decorated rooms over five floors. Most of Bath's iconic tourist attractions - The Roman Baths, The Bath Abbey, The Bath Thermae Spa are all a short walk away. Within walking distance are also some of the best restaurants and shopping venues Bath has to offer. We hope you will visit us and enjoy the experience of staying in one of Bath's original Georgian townhouses with service and accommodation that truly reflects this beautiful city’s social history and culture.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at The Kennard and found our the team to be accommodating and welcoming. The Kennard is conveniently located a few doors down from The Pultney Bridge which leads you to the heart of the Roman City. Pultney Bridge opened in 1777 and is a fine example of Georgian architecture. The bridge is one of only four bridges in the world to have shops across its full span on both sides. Just over he bridge is the Bath Abbey and Roman Baths, another short walk brings you to much photographed Royal Crescent, a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in a sweeping crescent overlooking Victoria Park. The park makes for a picturesque picnic spot in the warmer months. The Kennard offers up to date leaflets for local sites and activities. The team are more than happy to offer advice on things to see and do during your stay. We are happy to book dinner reservations and taxis if required. We very much hope to see you again should you return to Bath. Kind regards

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this lovely review, it's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed your stay. The Kennard is located just a few steps away from the heart of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was built in 1794, the golden age of Bath's Georgian elegance, as a lodging house to provide accommodation for those coming to spend the season in this delightful city. The Kennard has twelve rooms, each have been loving decorated in a modern but classic style to compliment the Georgian house. Every room offers a hot drinks tray, this gets topped up daily with a selection of tea and coffee, not forgetting the homemade shortbread! As you have mentioned, we also have a handy Honesty Bar, which means guests can enjoy a slightly stronger drink at their leisure. This is a treat in the summer months when the garden is in full bloom. Breakfast is located on the lower ground floor, in what was once the Georgian kitchen. To start we offer a cold buffet of cereals, delicious homemade granola, fruits, yogurts and juices. This is followed by a choice of hot dishes from the menu, the menu offers a wide choice and we are happy to accommodate dietary needs. We would be so grateful if you could let us know how you feel we can improve The Kennard, so we may offer you an unforgettable '5 star' experience. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. We very much hope to see you again should we choose to revisit Bath. Kind regards

Hi there, Stonehenge is about a 45 minute drive from the hotel.

Dear Maria Unfortunately we do not provide a shuttle service from Bristol Airport. You may elect to take the Air Decker bus service which normally costs around £14.00 and the trip takes an hour, or you may elect to come to Bath by Taxi which normally costs $40 and takes about 40 minutes. Kind regards, Priya
