Good service all round lovely clean loos. Very busy but all staff are lovely and helpful. We sat for a long time and didn't feel rushed or in the way. Staff pleasant, chatty and made us welcome . Plent of selection of drinks and food.

This hotel needs serious updating - my husband and I debated whether the last update was in the 70s or the 80s. They have updated the downstairs - a bar and a restaurant that serves decent food and drinks. Service was good too - very friendly and helpful, but as soon as you go upstairs, it's a different story. The...

My husband and I booked a Thursday 1 night stay using an online offer. The hotel is in a fantastic location with a car park 1 minute away. The room was nice and very clean, bathroom could be updated. Staff very friendly and great breakfast. Would stay again.

The bathroom was very dated and the main room was extremely small, no wardrobe iron etc, but do provide hairdryer, however this is a very old building and for a central location was fine for sleeping and showering. Full English breakfast was very nice indeed however the plates and cutlery could have been cleaner.. The bar area is very quiet...

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. The staff were warm and friendly, and our room was comfortable and perfect for us. The central location of the hotel is just great, you step outside the front door and are instantly in the center of everything to do in Bath. We parked the car around the corner in...

We stayed at the Abbey Hotel as part of a wedding party in March 2017. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful, going out of their way to ensure we were looked after and that our table for breakfast the morning after was decorated with the balloons we had retrieved from the wedding venue. It's in a...

Paid £290 for a double room- small and horrible decor- Lino flooring in bathroom! Needs a serious facelift! Would prefer to stay in a premier inn. No parking so have to pay for pay and display. Breakfast £15 pp!! We actually left and stayed elsewhere! Awful!

We stayed as a group of girl friends- all celebrating a big birthday. The rooms were lovely. Very spacious. Very comfy beds. We had cocktails and gin in the bar before dinner there was not a huge selection but they had unusual cocktails and a couple of gins I'd not tried before so that proves you don't have to have...

Went to the club under the abbey hotel, very expensive, in which you were served in a plastic cup. Staff were friendly. Steps every where, Female toilets were miles away. Club is not suitable for anyone who has a mobility issue, even if it's mild

Dear Ruth F, Many thanks for your review, i am sorry to hear that you found the prices in our Igloo not to your liking. Although we make every effort to be accessible for this with mobility issues this is not always possible given the age of the building, our teams are more than happy to assist with any way...

Went to the igloo bar for a reception, and it was £10.50 for a double vodka and lemonade! It also came in a plastic cup, like why so expensive could go to turtle bay 2 cocktails for £7! Just don't didn't drink afterwards was ridiculous

Dear toby97996, Many thanks for your review, i am sorry to hear that you found the prices in our Igloo not to your liking. Our prices are at that level as the products that we use in our cocktails and the standard of our drinks are of a much higher quality than those you will find in other chain cocktail...
