Stayed here in January 2017 and have to say our review will be a bit like some of the others on here. PLUS POINTS; Excellent location, two mile walk into Bath along the river, or the old railway line. On the bus route, stops just outside the site, and during the day busses very regular, in fact the park and...

Spent six days here for the amazing Christmas Market in Bath. The site is ideally situated for a pleasant stroll along the riverbank into Bath and is also adjacent to the main Bath to Bristol bus route. However the pitches are ridiculously close together, the showers are too few and poorly maintained. It is off putting to see hazard warning...

The campsite was easy to find, we drove straight in and pulled up at the roundabout outside the reception area. We were met by a lovely guy with a beard who was very chatty and happy and we even got offered a chocolate, it was a great welcome. The pitches were all hard standing and large, very well set out...

Great location alongside River Avon and pathway and close to park and ride bus route. Had a lovely welcome from warden and were quickly on pitch. Typical winter conditions - bit wet and windy but ideal spot for our Bath visit. The site was very busy but everyone friendly enough and you get the impression that they get many short...

The campsite is brilliantly positioned for either the park and ride or a cycle into the city centre. The pitches are sound and well spaced. However, the shower / toilet blocks are in urgent need of repair and renovation. The showers are no more than a dribble and take ages before any warm water appears.

We spent a pleasant two nights here whilst visiting Bath and the Christmas Market. The site is not the most picturesque but is well equipped and in a great location. Initially we had difficulty making contact after we had booked - several phone calls, answerphone messages and emails were left unanswered; we managed to get hold of someone on the...

Stayed here for 2 nights in our van during the off peek season upon checking in there was no one at check in just an envelope left out for us. We found our pitch and set up fine although it would of been nice to see someone (we arrived around 3pm). Location is good if you don't mind a walk...

Stayed with The Timberland Motorhome Owners Club. Excellent stay. Site next to Bath Marina and bus terminal. Local busses take you into heart of Bath. Had great weather that made for cycling on local well surfaced and well used routes, a pleasure. Showers and toilets clean but remember to push light button on entry - or if you are in...

Why do people moan so much about this place? The toilets and showers were always clean, warm, and well stocked, as is the shop. The site staff were friendly and fun, and extremely helpful. The location is great, and easy to find, brilliant transport links in and out of Bath. Why do people book this site? to visit Bath, I...

Well normally I don't review places we stay however due to some of the negative comments I felt I should. We arrived around 5pm on Saturday evening I called ahead to tell them we'd be late. The polite chap on the phone explained everything to me and that our booking instructions would be left for us outside the office. Such...
