What a beautiful hotel! Firstly the host Jill was extremely welcoming and wanted to help wherever possible. The room was lovely - spacious, had a TV with DVD player, very nice bathroom and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have slept in! The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of food and drinks to...

Recently spent 3 nights here and feel we couldn't have done better. Friendly and hospitable, rooms have an individual feel to them and are furnished well and with character. Breakfast is generous with a good range of items. I've never before stayed anywhere where there was Cava in an ice-bucket on offer at breakfast, though I didn't sample it! It's...

I booked this place last minute and felt that at the reduction the price was highly reasonable. It was a lovely old building and breakfast was generous. It could do with redecorating in the hallways and a refit in the breakfast room but I was impressed with my room, loved the toile decor! Great service and check in, I enjoyed...

Oldfields was brilliant. We arrived a little early to check in and were greeted by a warm and friendly reception staff who provided parking and excellent directions for the town. It is only 10 minutes walk from central bath. Rooms were clean and tidy with lots of lovely touches included. Beds comfy and had a great nights sleep. Breakfast the...

We stayed for 2 nights, and had a great time. Close enough to Bath to walk into town. On the side of the hill overlooking the Town. So many sight to see, and not enough time to see them all. Our rooms were the largest in Oldfields. They were to large double with 4 poster beds. Well worth the extra...

The most important thing to us is the quality of the bed, and at Oldfields we were not disappointed. Two out of the four pillows were a little lumpy, but between us we had two acceptable ones. The heated towel rail wouldn't come on and our towels weren't refreshed (we were only there for a few nights so I guess...

Enjoyed a two night stay at the Oldfields where the staff were friendly and attentive. Our room and en-suite was vey clean and small but had everything we needed, although the decor was looking slighty tired, this was reflected in the cost of the room. Location good as it is only a 10 mins walk to the centre and if you do not...

We arrived after a long journey by car and the managers were extremely polite and welcoming, even though the lounge was unaccessible for renovations they really made all the effort to make us feel comfortable offering us champaign or tea. Our room was absolutely fabulous and had a four poster bed and nice terrace with a beautiful view of the...

We booked a room for a last last minute stop over using trip advisor as a guide as the reviews had been good. From the minute we arrived the service was excellent, we were offered fresh orange, sherry, cava whatever as a welcome drink! The room was lovely and the breakfast the next morning was probably one of the best...
