Very clean facilities throughout, pleasant staff, good location and a beautifully cooked breakfast - just perfect for a couple of nights in Bath. It is just a 10 minute walk downhill into Bath so we were able to forget about the car during our stay. One evening it was raining so we got a taxi into town to the restaurant...

A warm welcome here with afternoon tea on arrival; kind assistance with directions and taxi; quiet room and magnificent home cooked breakfast. Highly recommended for business or pleasure. Would certainly stay here again.

Just returned from very enjoyable 3 nights stay at Oldfields House. Room at the front was on the small side, but was very quiet thanks to triple glazing, and had a huge and extremely comfortable extra king size bed. Location of Hotel was very convenient, just 15 minutes downhill walk into the centre of town. This meant an uphill walk back...

Stayed for two nights in a four poster room with champagne and chocolates! Arrived early but no problem leaving our car (the car park is small but there was enough room while we were there) went back later to check in and we were given tea and cake in the lounge while they talked to us and assured us that...

Only a few minutes walk into town, off street parking provided. Gorgeous period hotel, comfortable and clean. Delicious breakfast, gluten free options too! Sitting area was a picture and so cosy. We had a lovely stay, would highly recommend. Thanks from down under Brett and Sharon.

What a great find this was. A lovely building with lots of period features but really fresh looking and clean. We agree with all the other comments about the coffee on arrival, the fresh smell of the bed linen etc. No bar but it is not necessary as the city centre is 10 minutes away on foot. Brilliant breakfast. Just...

In early August my wife and I spent two nights at Oldfields House. We arrived several hours early but we were greeted with coffee and cookies and given a through greeting and briefing of the town. After about twenty minutes our room was in fact ready and we left our stuff and set out. It's down hill to the town...

We stayed overnight with 3 adult children. Lovely welcome and orientation of the hotel and of Bath by the staff member on duty. Beautiful common room- living area with a computer available for guest use and plenty of sofas and chairs available for visiting and with a stunning view of the valley toward the city of Bath. We were shown...

We were served tea in the beautiful, but relaxed, living room upon arrival, very nice! Short walk downhill to town, good for walkers, not for couch potatoes. Train station walking distance too. Amazing service (lots of servers!) and 5 star breakfast. Our room was noisy, because of the busy road. We closed the window and used air conditioning which was...
