We had a large and pleasant room. Service was for the most part excellent, with every effort made. However we had a Groupon booking and the hotel seems to be fully "grouponised," for the next year or so. It was absolutely full to the point that we had to wait 15 minutes for a table at breakfast. It will be...

We stayed at the Ayrlington on a Groupon Voucher and were delighted to be upgraded to the Grand Suite. A beautiful room which certainly has the "wow" factor, we only wished we had been celebrating something! Everything about this room was perfect and we would have loved to have stayed longer to enjoy the full benefits it had to offer....

This hotel is perfectly situated, views are romantic, day & night time look out on Abbey & Pulteney bridge. Very classically looking hotel with classic setting. There is a free but tight car park, Iift availability would have been help for us for our particular needs & air conditioning might have been helpful in summer heat. Decor is in need...

Great location with free parking (limited spaces), meant we could easily walk into the centre of bath (10mins). The staff were absolutely fantastic, couldn't do enough for us. Wonderful breakfast too.

Arrived at Ayrlington at around 1230, Stayed in 'Chinese' room which was very relaxing and clean. My only gripe would be that the bathroom light could be a little brighter😎. Wonderful breakfast with very good service indeed. Will book again😀

Everything was wonderful, apart from the service at breakfast, which although not a big issue, could use some work. Our waiter was young and probably new. we waited for our coffee and eventually I had to go to the kitchen to ask where it was, as others arriving for breakfast after us got their coffee. We then waited another age...

Firstly This is an old building , Yes there are is a need to update a little e.g our curtains needed re fixing , bathroom cabinet fittings and furnishings really need to be replaced and a coat of paint would hide past water damage in the bathroom. However we felt on balance the positives outweighed the negatives! The breakfasts were...

Built of golden Bath stone, The Ayrlington is a large and handsome English Heritage listed building set in a splendid walled oriental garden with exceptional views of the City and its medieval Abbey. Bath's magnificent historic sites, speciality shops and excellent restaurants are all just a five minutes level stroll away. The Ayrlington's elegant and tranquil interior is a graceful blend of English and Asian antiques, artwork, fine fabrics and Egyptian cotton bedlinen - all 18 bedrooms have an individual theme and are beautifully furnished, some with four poster beds. The emphasis is on creating an atmosphere of peace and tranquility in the centre of Bath's vibrant city centre. The Ayrlington has a licensed residents' bar, secure on-site private parking and is entirely non smoking. We do not accept children under 5 years of age.
