It was a above average, the staff was very delightful and more then willing to help with anything! The breakfast was amazing for the price. Bathroom and dorm rooms were very clean. Would recommend it. It is located very close to the city Centre and all the attractions, getting anywhere from there is very easy. The rugby stadium is very...

Great location, clean rooms and beds. I stayed in a twin room which had a disgusting basin and only one plug socket. The staff weren't very talkative and the other residents staying were loud and some came across as frightening. Shared showers were okay but the toilets had broken seats and locks. Lounge area was small and the breakfast was...

I have been lucky enough to travel the world and stay in lots of different hostels, but had not yet found triple bunk beds- I have heard they exist, but this weekend I finally encountered them, in the YMCA in Bath! Each bunk has curtains,a plug socket, a light and even a USB port! A very clean and well managed...

I stayed here between 30th December 2014-1st January 2015 in one of the 12 bed mixed dorms. It was what you would expect to get for 14 pounds a night in Bath. The dorm, bathroom and shower facilities were less than clean but bearable for the amount you're paying. Half the showers were broken, there was barely any heating throughout...

It is in a nice location, as it is in central Bath. The check in man was very welcoming and friendly. The triple level dorm bunks have curtains all around each bed, as well as a reading light and electric point with ledge to rest your phone. The toilet smelt very strongly of urine, which leached out into the hallways....

Great place to stay right in central bath. Friendly and helpful reception. Clean rooms, with own sink, wardrobe, chair, lamp and nightstand - better quality accommodation than YHA generally are. shared bathroom modern and clean. Accommodation reminded me of a hall of residence - was absolutely fine. popular and could be noisy if you are on the wrong corridor -...

Dorm style bunk rooms with shower/ toilet in corridor. We paid £25 a person and could maybe have got a room in a hotel for about same price. Having said that single beds are comfortable and location is excellent and it's fine if you have a crowd. Parking opposite ( except Friday night unless you leave by 6am Sat due...

I've stayed in a few Hostels around the world and to be honest they have all been just as good or better than this one. Its ok, especially if you have a private twin room like me. Some of my party were in the dorms and did not enjoy it! My room was slightly grubby around the walls and carpet...

Nice welcome from checkin, staffs are very helpful and friendly, thanks for the guy in check -in desk who changed coins for me and show me how to use the machine. The hostel is a little bit difficult to find and if you access by the entrance on Walcot street, have to climb up a flight of stairs but it...

I have stayed in the Bath YMCA on a few occasions, each time the reception staff have been extremely friendly and helpful. The dorm rooms are always immaculate, and shower facilities are very good. The breakfast is amazing, with the option of paying for a cooked breakfast on a weekend. Another wonderful aspect of the YMCA is that it also...

Our new and improved rooms will deliver a high standard comfortable hostel room for 2010. The YMCA is centrally located, just a stones throw away from all the major tourist attractions, tempting shops, sensational restaurants, Bath Rugby, pubs, clubs and award winning parks. If you want to be in the middle of it, then the YMCA is the location for you. The old Victorian building is at least 130 years old and overlooks the bustling Broad Street. It houses our dormitory accommodation for groups, backpackers and holiday makers. It also boasts a rather unusual mural on the grand main staircase. All guests have access to single sex bathroom facilities throughout the range of accommodation and all areas have secure access, ensuring your safety at all times. Staff on the 24 hour reception are nearly all locals who know Bath inside out. So we can help you plan your stay, organise and book tours or recommend a place to eat or visit. We will let you know what's on, where's in and what to avoid and what's unmissable in Bath. Guests at the YMCA also benefit from access to our fantastic health and fitness centre, with a great gym, a wicked range of classes for those of you who want to sweat, tone or relax, sauna, sunbeds and the friendliest gym staff you are ever likely to meet. So, if you are travelling but want to maintain your fitness program or just chill out in the sauna - we're the place for you. If you are travelling in a big group we can also offer conference facilities/meeting rooms further catering etc - just ask and we will do our best to deliver! We can accommodate over 200 people a night, so whether you are travelling alone or in a big group, old, young or with children - we have the bed for you.
