Many reviews seem to be highly critical of this hotel. I think it delivers exactly what it claims. The Staff are happy and very helpful. Yes the hotel is tired and needs a refurb Also, our room was tiny (But we were told this on booking) It was clean and had a comfy bed. We found it quiet at night...

As stated above we were kept awake by the noisy clientele from the next door club. I have stayed in many B&Bs,hotels, hostels, camp sites and have never had such a bad nights sleep. I have written to the hotel owner and spoken to the management about this issue. I do not feel that they should be advertising rooms which...

We stayed here on 30th and 31st December 2013 with our 10 year old son. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Our family room was two rooms with an open doorway between the two (4F). They were great with us taking our son into the Lambretta Bar which adjoins the hotel and is open to residents and non residents....

Our room was on the second floor, which in America would be the third floor. The two flights of steps were very steep, but at least a staff member helped us take our bags to the room. The room was a bit tight with luggage, but was functional. The breakfast buffet was fine and included assigned seating so that your...

We had room 5 which has a 4 poster bed. The room was clean quite spacious and plenty of storage/hanging facilities. En suite bathroom was ok, nice and clean. The whole place is a little tired, what could be a fantastic regency building is in need of some imaginative revamp really. My main issue was that the hotel was too...

I admit to being fussy but even my husband shares my opinion. This is not 3* accommodation, we normally only stay in 4* but it was only for a couple of nights so took the chance, never again! We booked a small double expecting the room to be small but the room way tiny and the bed was small and...

Great location, close to the centre. We had a room right at the top with gorgeous views. Room was clean and cosy. The shower room was a little small but adequate. Some noise during the night but nothing serious. An excellent buffet style continental breakfast with a wide choice of fare. The building has real character and the staff were friendly...

couldn't be better location wise I was very pleased with that. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was cosy. Generous breakfast. The only poor thing was the shower (no bath) it didn't run hot the whole time and the water pressure wasn't great.

Stayed here earlier in the year as it was so handily located in the centre. do not take any rooms at the front if you want any sleep! nice reception staff, room was a bit dated, nice enough continental breakfast. handy bar underneath apart from the noise!!!!

Having looked for cheaply priced accommodation for 3 in the centre of Bath, I booked this venue. However, the reviews I read made me anxious that perhaps I’d chosen badly. But NO!... this was all we needed! An easy 5 minute walk from the bus and train stations and although we arrived in the morning, our room was ready, which...
