It was like the old days of sleeping with your cousins in grandma's attic. Three women in three beds. It was perfect. The hosts were great. The place is spotless and the breakfast was delicious. They even gave us breakfast an hour early when we had to leave at 7:30. I cannot say enough about the gracious hosts and the... More

Fantastic place to stay in Bath. Personalised service from great hosts and exceptionally clean bedroom and bathroom. Tasty breakfast too. Would definitely come back and recommend to all those visiting Bath. I've been converted from hotel chains to bed and breakfasts based on this stay.

Matt and Mary were excellent mine hosts with a real eye for attention to detail. the Albany is fantastically located just 5 minutes walk from Bath city centre and the Rec. Our stay represented real value for money, the breakfast was excellent and the choice was enormous. Off street parking was a real bonus too. We arrived early and were expecting... More

The location was great as you are within 5 minutes of being in the centre of Bath. We stayed in one of the front rooms and whilst we could hear slight noise from the traffic it was not very loud and did not keep us up. The breakfast was really good and i would go back again for this alone.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary in Bath and our choice turned to Albany Guest House since it was the only B&B which allowed a one night minimum stay.  They gave us the only double bedroom available at that moment which turned out to be the smallest room but on the other hand the only double bedroom... I spent 5 nights at the Albany Guest House on a recent sightseeing trip to Bath and the surrounding area. I had single occupancy of a double room. My room was lovely - clean, comfortable, and serviced every day. Breakfast was wonderful, and the hosts were welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Albany is in a great location - only about... More

Fine location, great hosts, good food, but no space to move in the room. There were two of us in the room so we had to take turns moving about. There was no Lounge area which made the crowded space even more difficult. Thanks to white noise on the radio, we were able to drown out the noise of the... More

Great Location to everything in Bath. Short walk from the B&B to the center of Bath and the Royal Crescent. Coin laundry was very close to the location with was helpful when traveling. Breakfast was great and our hosts were most accommodating. Rooms not big but cozy and clean and set on a quiet street.

I booked this accommodation months in advance directly with Matt & Mary, including sending a deposit. It was fantastic to arrive and have everything in order. The room was well appointed and serviced everyday. Breakfast was wonderful and nothing was too much trouble for the hosts. The location is fantastic and is in easy walking distance of everything....and I mean... More

“Our private bathroom was actually outside of our room. We knew this when reserving the room plus we booked at the last minute. If we come back, we would check to see if they have any ensuite bathrooms available which they probably do.”
