What a shame. Great location with car parking. Friendly receptionist But oh. the hotel is so tired and dirty. Stains on the ceiling over my friends bed. Dirty shower. Bedding that should be thrown out and beds like a board. The worst nights sleep ever. No breakfast facilities - but then again I suppose would you want it. Ill fitting...

My husband booked 4 rooms for a stag do at this hotel and unfortunately ended up not coming to Bath in the end. There was a mix up with the cancellation and resulted in a large no-show fee which the hotel were perfectly entitled to charge. However, we called and explained the situation and the people we spoke to were...

I've just got back from spending a weekend in Bath with my boyfriend and we stayed at Redcar for just one night and to be honest I am so pleased it was only the one night! Everything about this hotel is pretty dire and it is in desperate need of a face lift. The carpet in our room was worn...

Yes the place has seen it's best and is in need of a facelift but for the location and the price you are paying you can't argue. I quite liked the character of the place and found the staff to be excellent, very helpful and on hand when needed. In relation to the parking we were there on the weekend...

No, it's not the Ritz, but it's quite a decent choice for Bath. It probably needs a bit of renovating, but we still had a decent room with a small but clean bathroom and we had a good night rest. Bear in mind you have to pay a little extra if you use the hotel park on a weekend. Location...

As someone else said where do you start. Well Car parking!!! a hotel with 42 rooms and supposedly 10 parking spaces is bad enough but when you book online and get there to be told they don't accept the area for additional requests in the online booking form for booking a car parking space, you know things are going to...

I read all the reviews about this hotel and was expecting the worse - in fact it was absolutely fine and we had a city centre location at just £60 for a twin room on a Saturday in Bath! The hotel itself is a bit jaded but all the important things like bath, loo, towels, and bed linen were all...
