This is a Brains owned pub and has Welsh touches as a result- nice cheeses etc on the menu. Good value food and great breakfast. Just that bit better than a Premier Inn. In March it's hard to appreciate a drink by the riverside in the garden, but the nice conservatory has the view too, just limited seats.

Last week four of us, all adults, had a great meal, which was served by helpful and polite staff. We has enjoyed a matinee performance at the theatre in Bath and used the park-and-ride just beside The Boathouse, very convenient! My wife and I have enjoyed many meals over the past 5 years, usually with friends and relatives, and the...

Just had lunch at The Boathouse. Food passable, but took far too long (especially as it was half empty). The most irritating part was that we ordered one child's portion of dessert (£2), plus an adult's portion (£5.25). As the deserts arrived on the table, I pointed out that, despite being presented on an enormous plate, the adult's portion was...

Great friendly and helpful staff. Great location. Good dink selection. Food. Um. Not sure but I'd hazard a guess it's not made on site. I'd say the mac and cheese and the beef pie with mash that we had was more like a couple of Tesco value ready meals warmed up and put in a bowl to look home made....

My friend and I stayed there Friday & Saturday night B&B basis. We had breakfast both mornings, a main meal Friday and after our day out in Bath had bar snacks on the Saturday evening. All of the food, from bar snacks to main meals, was delicious and great value for money. The staff were all relatively new but very...

Haven't been before and enjoyed the food and excellent service we wanted to give our friend a birthday treat. Forty minutes after ordering there was no sign of food. I had been told that they had run out of steak. After another 10 minutes it did finally arrive minus the apple sauce that was supposed to accompany the pork. The...

Although the table was prebooked several days before for my walking party and confirmed on the morning before we set off. The table was not ready, we were not greeted by friendly staff and although we organised a table ourselves by clearing all dirty plates no staff came and we were unable to get to the bar to order our...

Enjoyed a three course meal from the Valentines set menu. Forgot to send through food order until the day (received no reminder) and they didn't seem to have acknowledged our late order it by the evening. Wasn't end of the world as the food on our order was still available. The food was very tasty. Nice environment in the restaurant....
