Booked a couple of nights for a short stay in Bath. Our room was tidy, clean and just what we needed for a good night's sleep. The staff are friendly and the place is well organised, with a self-catering kitchen, communal areas and shared showers which were nice and clean. The place is up a small hill but if you... More

We had a lovely stay here back in April. Very beautiful building, room was clean, tidy and basic. We had a meal in the restaurant and breakfast in the morning, food was lovely! Staff were friendly and it was a nice place to stay before exploring Bath. Parking was a slight issue as the road was very busy but we did eventually find... More

I went to a YHA hostel for the first time and I think that sine this stay I'll choose this brand each time I'm going to UK. The rooms are very comfortable, you can decide to eat in their restaurant or cook yourself. The staff is very friendly and the lounge is a perfect place to play to Monopoly with... More

Myself and five girlfriends were coming up to Bath for a night for a 50th birthday. We were on a bit of a budget, wanting to save money on accommodation to use on drinks, food and the spa! We booked a six bed ensuite bunk room for one night, it worked out at £22 each! Room was basic but clean,... More

We used a private en suite room for four with two sets of bunk beds. The rooms are basic but comfortable. The separate shower and toilet was functional and the water was hot. Bath YHA, an upmarket hostel in terms of facilities & comfort, worked well for us as family travellers. Beware of the ambiguity in the start point for... More

Many thanks for your review. Apologies you had difficulties finding the start of the National Trust Skyline walk, which starts on Cleveland Walk below the hostel. We hope you enjoyed it anyway. More

We were in a private en suite room for four with two sets of bunk beds. The room was basic (which was OK for us). The bathroom is tiny but water was hot and it worked out for us as a family, It was cold in the room - weather outside was about 6-8 degrees in the mornings but I... More

I used YHA Bath for a group booking of 14 girls. We had rooms in the The Lodge and, although it could probably do with a bit of updating, it was very clean and comfortable. It was pretty quiet and we were all very happy there. We had a good, hearty breakfast the following morning in the main building, and... More

This place is incredible, Exceptional value for money, the staff are friendly, smile lots and are super knowledgeable. The rooms were comfortable and the location perfect. Feels more like a budget hotel than a hostel...but much cheaper!! Will definitely return, thank you guys!

Lovely looking old sandstone building tucked away halfway up Bathwick Hill. There is free parking on Bathwick Hill opposite the driveway to the hostel. It takes about 20 minutes to walk into the town centre and a few more to walk back, although public buses are available to whisk you up & down the hill. The hostel was very clean... More
