Nice and friendly. Good facilities. Friendly staff and friendly stayers. My membership card has not arrived yet, but it has not prevented me getting the discount on further stays. Just show your receipt tp the staff.

This YHA has family rooms but we didn't find it suitable for children. It seems that this venue is now a cheap alternative for foreign workers and other working adults. It has lost the feel of a youth hostel. We were woken at 5.00am by Spanish workers talking outside our window whilst their cigarette smoke drifted into our family bedroom....

Stayed here after a less-than-fabulous (but fun) stay at another hostel in London, and these were my first hostel stays. Normally visit hotels or rent villas when traveling. The historic building is gorgeous, well-maintained (a leaking ceiling was scheduled for repair as I left), and faultless ly clean. Stayed in a single-gender 6-bed room which *still* felt spacious enough. The...

Great to stay at Bath YHA again. Food excellent and hard to believe dinner and breakfast cooked to order. I walked up steep hill in the dark from station along edge of fields relying on a distant memory as couldn't find walking only driving info on line. Had to leave sharpish not having finished breakfast off so I have a...

Stayed for one night. Had room 27 . Private ground floor room near the kitchen. Double bed with upper bunk. En suite. Clean room. Enough space. This room gets a lot of light from the annex outside the window and has a constant drone from what I guess was a boiler. Great hostel. Nice building. Good size dining room. Well...

Situated in pleasent surroundings, and convenient to visit Bath.Good Breakfast, Pleasant staff who were very helpful. Room could have done with a bit of redecoration. Parking on the road side. It took a while queuing to book in. Steep hill to walk back from the town, but is a nice location in Bath, would probably come back again especially if...

Yha Bath is really nice and quiet hostel situated on the top of the hill but easily accessible by buses from the city centre. Bathrooms are clean and beds comfortable. The living room is cosy with TV and sofas. Self-catering kitchen is well equipped and always clean. The staff is nice, especially Katarina who is absolute gem. Friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable and...

I have stayed at Bath several times over the year, IMO it is one of the nicest hostels in the YHA chain. Very quiet and picturesque Roman villa type house in posh area with beautiful leafy gardens surrounding the place. Very clean rooms with well-equipped kitchen with about everything you need to prepare meals after work or going out. Good...

Our room was damp and noisy. We were in The Lodge which has 3 toilets and 3 showers for 50 people. It desperately needs modernising. The walls are paper thin, one toilet didn't work and the showers leak. We were next door to a toilet which kept us all awake at night. Our room was damp when we arrived then...

We paid £79.99 for one night's stay at this grubby place. The duvet was stained, as was the pillows and carpet. Couldn't wait to get away. Didn't feel like paying extra for towels, so skipped the shower. Glad we took a torch as dark once the main light was off, and of course no bedside lamp
