Thanks for your feedback and especially thanks for the positive comments about our team. So sorry that your breakfast was cold, since your stay we have now ordered a brand new hot plate to ensure that our great breakfasts are piping hot from now on so hopefully your next visit will be even better.

There is a lot that can be done to improve this hostel. The food was terrible and the games in the lounge room incomplete and tatty. There were also some very strange clientele when we stayed making us feel unsafe. Bedrooms were clean.

Stayed here during the half term holidays with my husband (in male dorm) and teen daughter in our female dorm. This was our first dorm experience (all the family rooms were fully booked) and it was much better than expected. All the others in the dorm were considerate and tidy and we all slept well. Despite the hostel being full,...

The room we stayed in was comfortable, but with mud on the floor, some rubbish on the floor and the plug stuck in the sink let it down. We were next to the bathroom which proved noisy. A rugby team were set up doing massages late at night outside our room. Also the continental breakfast was non existent on our...

We spent a not inconsiderable sum of £156 for a room for four people on the 5/6 Feb 16. We along with several other unfortunate people didn't get any sleep due to a bunch of drunk yobs with no respect for anybody in room 25 a short distance away from us. This can happen in a hostel, I accept that....

Stayed here while at a university conference. It was unlike hostels on holidays to other parts of Europe. Not a lot to be aid tbh. Was a relaxed place to stay, quite nice that we all knew each other there. Location is not too far from the university and is one 5 min bus ride to town centre. It has...

We stayed here with our 2 young kids and another family of 4. We got adjacent dorm rooms, which were basic but did the job for 2 nights. The kids had a blast and we were able to put them to bed safely and us adults eat downstairs and socialise without any issues from other guests or staff. YHAs offer...

This is a nice place to stay with clean rooms and bathrooms (small but it's a hostel so expected). It's a little for out of the city Centre and is thus difficult to travel to with luggage. Especially because we were there for only one night but had to leave our bags in luggage storage on both days because the...

We were on a weekend trip to see the City and Christmas Market and stayed at the YHA. The hostel is in a handsome old house on a hill outside the city centre. Our room wss comfortable, in the annexe, and the staff were very friendly as they always are at a YHA. The walk to the city, with views...

Rundown facility with unwelcoming staff at the front desk. Had to ask staff 3 times where the hotspot for wifi is. On that note, wifi was terrible, only available in the dining room but still poor. Don't leave your windows open after dark as mosquitos will come in from the surrounding bush.

Dear Anthony P, Thank you for taking the time to write a review, we appreciate all guest feedback. I'm sorry that you found the staff unwelcoming. I'll be sharing your post with them.
