My husband and I recently spent four nights at the Crescent Guest House and while it was not a bad experience, it was absolutely not worth the 95 £ we paid per night. The location is good and the landlady was helpful and approachable, even if her rough charme is not exactly everybody's idea of friendliness (we also did not... More

We only stayed one night here but felt right at home & really wanted to stay longer, pity we didn't have the time! Rita was so helpful & kind, just lovely...our room was not large but very cosy & beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean & had a very comfortable bed. Location was perfect, very central to everything & we had no... More

A comfortable guest house very well situated for exploring Bath. The proprietor could not have been more helpful and was very knowledgable over all things relating to Bath. The accommodation, although small, was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. A large public car park was close by, and a street parking permit was available fom the guest... This guest house is located on a busy main road, but within walking distance of the city centre. Parking is supposed to be free (with a permit issued by Rita), but impossible to find a vacant spot. We eventually found one, only to be woken the next morning by a frantic Rita saying we had 5 mins to move the... More

I was looking on the internet for somewhere to stay in Bath and came upon The Crescent Guest House. I thought it sounded lovely and booked it without telling my husband. He informed me he had never stayed in a guest house before so I thought this would be a great experience for him and it was. We stayed for... More

Owner was very helpful and welcoming, offering us freshly brewed coffee on arrival. Very knowledgeable on Bath's amenities and history. Bedroom comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast delicious and food of a very high quality. Much better than any hotel. Interesting brochures and books to browse and borrow. Wi-fi in breakfast area.

Nice quaint B&B not far from all the attractions of Bath. Rita, the owner, is a friendly/approachable lady and is also knowledgeable on the area and places to eat. She welcomed us with fresh brewed coffee and homemade biscuits, wonderful after a hectic car journey. The room was nice but a little small. Fine for a short break though. It... More

We booked at the Crescent for three nights for a trip to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I'm so pleased we chose this guest house. It is central to all the attractions, being just ten minutes walk from the centre of town. Rita is a lovely lady. She welcomed us in with a cuppa and homemade biscuits which were much appreciated.... My wife and I stayed at the Crescent Guest House in Bath, England in November 2009 for 2 nights. The rooms were a little small by Canadian standards; however they were very well kept. The location of the guest house is ideally situated just outside the city centre. The owner, Rita Stackhouse, is a delightful person. She was ready, willing... More
