Stayed here for two nights for my best friend's wedding. Absolutely stunning place. The staff were great, they really looked after us, a special mention for Hugo (I think that's his name?) who was very helpful, and really made us feel welcome throughout our stay. Dinner at the restaurant was great, there were options to cater for everyone and it was all beautifully presented! Thank you for a fantastic stay, she couldn't have chosen a lovelier place to get hitched!

We have just returned from 3 nights (Fri-Mon) at the Bailbrook and considering the weekend was a last minute "consolation" break after our winter sun holiday was cancelled due to Omicron we feel very spoilt. The staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, service was overall excellent. We ate in both the "Conservatory" bar restaurant (twice) and more formal "Cloisters" dining room (once) and in both cases food was very high quality and good value and service was very good. Our bedroom was in the separate Bailbrook Court block - adjacent to the original building with just a few meters external walkway joining. The bedroom/bathroom was kept to a very high standard of decor/cleanliness and coffee /tea/biscuits etc. always topped up. On arrival we found one of the bedroom bulbs had gone and a maintenance man sorted it within 10 minutes of calling reception. One of the highlights for us was afternoon tea which we had in one of the sitting rooms. Very generous quantity of sandwiches and other delicious savouries, cakes, scones, beautifully presented, and lashings of tea - just as we like!! So overall, thoroughly recommended.

I couldn’t recommend bailbrook more. We booked our wedding over 5 years ago and sadly had quite a few rearrangements due to covid. However, bailbrook were outstanding with great communication throughout it all. Our wedding planner, Kamila, was wonderful and the events team on the day couldn’t have been better. We also stayed at the hotel multiple times throughout the wedding planning and actual wedding week, and didn’t have a bad stay! We’ve tried every room, from their most basic to their most expensive suite and they have all been wonderful - I would especially recommend one of their suites/four poster rooms for a real luxurious experience. I would recommend bailbrook to any couple looking for a wedding venue or short break in beautiful Bath - and I cannot wait to head back for our first anniversary!

If you like really good service, great staff, excellent breakfasts then look no further. Reception staff cannot do enough for you. The Cloisters restaurant served the best search cocktail poussin we have ever had. The flavours were remarkable. The waitress at breakfast from Romania was excellent, as was Johanus who serviced our room.
