I had not used a B&B for years, despite the fact that the general consensus was that they were much improved over the years. So, when I decided to attend the evening preview for the exhibition Silver: Light and Shade at the Holburne Museum (an excellent exhibition by the way) I asked for mid-range suggestions for hotels nearby. The Museum...

Stayed here for five nights at the beginning of October. Apple Tree is situated on a quite street and is a 5-10 minute walk to the city centre. Our room (Tiddly Pomme) was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. It had complementary biscuits, hot and cold drinks, hair dryer, iron and ironing board were also in the room. We spent 2 nights at Apple Tree (Bramley Room) last week. Our room was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Ling our hostess was very welcoming and would happily give suggestions of things to do if asked. Breakfast was cooked to order from a varied menu and was delicious. Car parking was on-street with a permit (provided). It was...

We stayed in Bath the first week in October for just one night at this delightful inn. Within easy walking distance to tourist areas and places to eat. The room and common areas were very clean and maintained. The breakfast was nice as were the staff. I would stay again!

A lovely place to return to where Ling looks after you and cooks you a great breakfast. Perfect for the level walk into the centre in 10 minutes or 5 minutes the other way and you are up on the canal. Two lovely cats as well. What more do you want!

We spent two nights at Apple Tree B & B the end of Sept. We were in a king room on the upper floor. It was a nice sized room, clean and very attractive. Ling, our hostess, was welcoming and we had cooked to order excellent breakfast in the charming dining room. Ling told us the easiest and shortest walk...

Welcoming manner; ample breakfast cooked to order; quiet neighborhood & easy walk to town. No public common space. Rooms were lovely, simple and scrupulously clean, though small. Placard provided for street parking.

We loved our stay at Apple Tree. It was less than 10 minute walk to the Bath Abbey and Roman Baths so the location was highly convenient. Breakfast was delicious, coffee and tea were the best we had on our trip, and the bed was comfortable. The room size was perfect for my wife and I. We stayed at six...

Very impressed by the kind, welcoming owners, with great enthusiasm for Bath! Our room was well proportioned, clean, with attractive decorative touches. The breakfast was very nice with a great selection of cooked options. It is located just a 5 minute walk from the city centre on a lovely quiet road, and parking is very easy. We had a flying...
