Been before it was great, wanted a quick get away with my family but shocked we are here and its like club 18-30s. We aren't party poopers we get it BUT................... Really noisy neighbours, loud music & general lack of respect for others. First night and so disappointed. Reception closed, no emergency/security number to contact and one tired little girl trying to sleep. Very upsetting

Absolute heaven Our lodge stay was perfect from start to finish. The staff are so lovley and helpful. I have Heath issues and they looked after me in every way., the pool ect was very clean, the bar and restaurant was lovkey with a good choice and the outside area is lovley for a meal or a drink. Added extras at this park include a small bowling alley, vertual golf and a pool table, activities in the woods archery ect. Shop and garage near by on the main road plus a fresh fruit & veg stall. Lodges we’re clean and well equipped. Very relaxing. Chatted with reception staff who are very helpful can’t wait to come back. Needs more info in the accommodation about hire of bbq, swing chairs ect.

Had a relaxing girls weekend here. It’s a lovely park in a peaceful setting. First night we stayed in the Glastonbury Lodge which was very clean and spacious, second night we stayed in the Langfield Premier (with hot tub) which was out of this world. Very modern! The receptionists went above and beyond to help us out. They were so friendly and accommodating. We walked around the reservoir (pretty much across the road) which is beautiful. We walked into Cheddar and sat in the sunshine at ‘On the Rocks’ cocktail bar. We had a roast at the Riverside and a delicious cake from Cheddar cakery. This place is such great value for money and ideal if you want to relax and recharge. Definitely recommend!

Stayed for a short break. Had noisy neighbours, with shouting, loud music and there seemed to be a lot of people coming and going! Accommodation was clean and spacious and well equipped. One of the beds collapsed during the night, the slats were loose and not fitted correctly. The dishwasher was not working properly. The hot tub was not working properly for most of our stay, we had to keep waiting for someone to fix it. The pool was lovely, very clean and nice changing rooms . It’s a lovely park in a great location. The staff were very nice and friendly, especially the hot tub guy that tried hard to sort out the hot tub problem for us. However, despite the issues , we will be back for a longer stay next time.

Treated to a stay for my birthday with my fiancé and our dog. Never stayed in a lodge before but was very well impressed with the quality of the whole experience. The lodge was fantastic, spacious and very well equipped with a massive hot tub and outside seating area. The food in the on-site restaurant was fabulous delicious food and great drinks. Will 100% return again.

Accommodation was clean but basic (despite we were in a premier with hot tub) it lacks home comforts, very sparse, no cushions and no case for the flowers I took. The bonus is there is an an outdoor plug socket within easy reach of the parking spot to charge your electric vehicle if needed. Hot tub is always lovely to have as a little treat, this one did take a long time to change temperature and was stone cold at night, the minute you lift the lid the temperature drops quickly. Also not particularly private, despite the screening provided, neighbours are able to see in and one weird woman kept staring at us through the gap in the screen. The park is very clean and mostly quiet, however they seem to allow party groups as a neighbouring accommodation was very loud playing extremely loud music and lots of screaming shouting and loud singing. When we complained the staff did respond well and it seemed to quieten down for a while. Good luck if you are staying for a week as Monday mornings are ridiculously busy with several loud lorries and cars driving through the park (very fast!) and cleaners making lots of noise, I was v glad was going home Monday as would have been unhappy to be woken at 7am by all the noise around. Shame.

The lodge was beautiful, we stayed in the 4 bedroom wedmore. Great view out from the balcony. Bbq facilities and nice large outside dining table. The lodge itself has 2 lovely ensure double rooms with great size ensuites. The beds were comfy and all of the lodge was immaculately clean. Staff at the bar were lovely and very friendly and helpful! If you love a strawberry milkshake ask them to make you a strawberry split... 🍓 😋

Lovely lodge. Some areas need attention to detail but didn't effect us. Bar ok but only had a drink. Very helpful at reception as we asked to be moved due to road noise they could accommodate us, but prop not in high season. Lovely grounds. 5 minutes to cheddar gorge. Avoid lodges in ubley. No 169 to 177 busy road behind you. Woken up about 4am due to Lorries going to quary

Really enjoyed our weekend at Cheddar Woods, the food in the bistro would match any other top notch restaurant, definitely worth a visit, if you want a relaxing break, then this is definitely the place, the lodge was very good, but could probably do with a few more plug sockets dotted around the place, would I come back, definitely

My family booked a holiday down here so I thought I’d pop down for the day. Went in for food and the service was shocking. My dad went and ordered food, two beef roasts which looked great, and two sausage and mash meals. However the person taking the order messed up the meals and put two starters as a main, so my sister and I had to wait for our food. The waitress who came with the meal was adamant that there was no sausage and mash meal on the menu last time she checked? Then went back and realised it actually was on the menu, no apology. Then when clearing our plates she didn’t ask how our meals were even though the food was barely touched as our meals were appalling. Wouldn’t really recommend the restaurant. The accommodation was also of a pretty low standard as two of our curtains were stained with what looked and smelt like urine! However i must add this was sorted as soon as we got back, however this really shouldn’t have been a problem to begin with. Bit of a shame.
