A conveniently placed dog friendly hotel in between junctions 21 and 22. When leaving the hotel to go to Weston you will need to drop back a junction to turn around to head back (but speak to the front desk about this.... ).
This is a no frills hotel which has been freshly decorated and has comfortable adequately sized rooms. In the room you will find tea/coffee making facilities. Hair dryer. TV. Plentiful towels. Free WiFi. There's a smashing shower over a small shallow bath (if you're very tall or want a deep soaker tub you will be disappointed, but it was fine for my 5' 2" frame) . The super friendly staff have lots of local information to share with you. The front of house staff Claire (and I think Elaine?) were so incredibly friendly and helpful, and really made our stay. You could tell they took pride in the hotel and their roles there.
Looking at some earlier reviews I can only assume some people think they'll get a 5 star suite with concierge service for their £47-ish room - dream on people! What you will get is a friendly greeting, helpful service, an adequately furnished spacious warm room with a comfortable bed with crisp, clean sheets and a bathroom with lots of hot water! What more can you ask for for the money?! A big round of applause to all the lovely ladies at Sedgemoor!

I love how they have thought of everything to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. The hygiene and cleanliness has been well thought out. From the wall mounted sanitisers to the airing and deep cleaning of the rooms, before and after your stay. This is the first time of staying away from home since this Covid 19 pandemic started over 2 years ago. I was so anxious about staying in a hotel, that I packed my own cleaning supplies, which stayed packed and in the car, I had no need to have took them, as the room was thoroughly cleaned, aired and sealed. I love that they air the room after the previous guest has checked out, door left open during cleaning and windows open as well. Once the room has been deep cleaned it is then closed and a sticker is put on the door and door frame, to show that the room has been cleaned and no one else has been in the room. I also love the fact that your room is not cleaned during your stay, so you haven't got the risk of people bringing in the virus during your stay. If you need fresh towels you only have to ask and they will hand them to you. The hotel has undergone a makeover, which looks much better and they have included USB sockets for charging phones, Sat Navs etc. The staff are professional and knowledgeable. The hotel seemed quieter this time, usually we have to put a radio on low in our room, as our dog would bark if he heard someone walking passed the door or floor boards creaking. We didn't need to do this as it was quiet. I love the service road, so if the motorway is queuing you have another option to get to your required destination.

A lovely hotel with free customer parking that is located just off the M5 motorway which is in a prime location if you are traveling West towards Bristol after checking out, but if you are going South then you will need to go through the no entry ⛔ sign near the hotel on the left, following a narrow road that puts you back on track at Brent Knoll, I was informed of this by the friendly receptionist upon checking in which was such vital information to know.

This hotel has 2 floors but with no lift, the rooms are spacious with everything fully functional inside, clean towels & a good shower, large TV, kettle with mugs & complimentary beverages, plus a great sized bed, I even had a beautiful view of the countryside from my windows that even opened to allow some fresh air into the room, I was amazed at just how quiet & peaceful it was as I didn't hear any noise from the motorway traffic or even from the nearby services, if I could of changed one thing though it would of been the mattress as I suffer with a bad back & found It far too soft for me, but other than that I was very happy & can't wait to return when I am next in the beautiful county of Somerset.

For something to eat I was informed that there are several Chinese & Indian takeaways that deliver to this hotel, plus a nearby pub & restaurant to go to, there is a microwave in the reception/foyer area with cutlery if you want to heat up snacks that you have either brought with you or have purchased from the hotel itself, plus the nearby services have several outlets including a Starbucks & a Subway, however the Burger King I cannot recommend for anybody to try due to the poor quality of food that I purchased there, but that's for you to decide.

For what we paid I was not expecting much , however I am pleasantly surprised with this hotel.

The room we booked was a family room with two single pull out beds all comfy and clean , well proportioned room too not massive but not in top of each other.

We used as a stop off after a day at weston.

Would highly recommend for staff friendliness as well could not do enough for our family extra pillows and towels .

I have been staying at Days Inn for last 6 weeks for business. The staff is so helpful, friendly and accommodating they exceed most 4 star hotels in Bristol.
There is a microwave available plus a small fridge for keeping personal food. All the big supermarkets deliver to Days Inn.
If you are considering Travelodge, I would say don't bother, go to Days. Inn - they are also loyalty points for the hotel group.
You can ask for clean towels anytime plus top up of tissues, toilet roll and shampoo/soap.
The rooms are a little tired; new carpets and a lick of paint would make a big difference but the staff at Days Inn make the place.

Quickly and efficiently checked in. Room adequate, bathroom showing signs of much use . Beds comfortable enough, clean sheets. Only one set of towels but quickly remedied but it was the professionalism, politeness and helpfulness of staff would encourage me to re-book at a later date.
Special Thank You to Lauren and Brook

Well what can I say! We have never stayed at a services-motel before so we literally didn’t expect too much! We just wanted a cheap two night room in reach of brean and western! We was pleasantly surprised at how nice our room was, very clean and well maintained with everything we needed!
As well as an amazing room the staff were even more amazing! Extremely friendly, fantastic humour, nothing was too much trouble and also fantastic with local information.
It was mine and my daughters birthday on our second day which we went to spend the day in Weston super mare, when we came back worn out from a fun filled day we came back to a well cleaned room with a lovely note wishing us a happy birthday with some sweets and chocolate! How absolutely lovely! One of the ladies called Elaine was simply amazing! What a lovely lady! The management are blessed to have her and the other girls ,who I’m afraid names I didn’t catch , on her team! I hope they get some recognition for their outstanding service.
We really hope to stay here again when we come back down that way! Thankyou to all the ladies that made our stay so fabulous from aug 1st til the 3rd! I wish we could if stayed longer ! Much love from us all to you (room 102) xx

We stopped here as a halfway point to break up our journey from Rugby to Cornwall. We travelled in the evening to avoid traffic which worked perfectly for us. The hotel is also dog freindly and the charge is very reasonable. The reception team were so freindly, welcoming and helpful. They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Great value for money, services are just across the car park so breakfast was not a problem. Couldn't fault it really

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days and although we were a little apprehensive about it being next to the service station the hotel and staff were absolutely fantastic! Elaine the receptionist was absolutely outstanding with customer service, she went out of her way to accommodate our needs ( bringing in a couple of chairs for us from her home ) so we could sit around the back of the hotel . There's a bench and a small picnic area adjacent to the hotel . The room was lovely, clean and BIG ! Although this hotel has no restaurant (service station for breakfasts) it does supply plenty of snacks and drinks in the reception area (at a small cost) there is also a microwave in reception area and plates also provided. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. All in all a great place to stay !
Ideal for visiting surrounding area's : Western super mare , Burnham on sea, Taunton, chedder Gorge and wookey Hole . We will definitely be returning at some point . Also a shout out to the lovely cleaning ladies for doing such a great job ! 👏

We came to stay for a few days for my birthday. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, especially the cleaner/receptionist/bit of everything (haha) that fixed the light in our room for us. (I can’t remember her name- but she was so lovely)

The location was so handy for the beach, the little cut through meant we didn’t have to use the motorway for our entire stay.

Overall I couldn’t have asked for a nicer or more welcoming place to stay!
