Absolutely amazing food and staff. Particularly Murray and Alice. The Thai bbq chicken was fantastic. The chef was so obviously trained in Asian cuisine because it was amazing. Equally my husband’s fish and chips were fabulous. Would highly recommend.

We stopped here to eat and we were blown away. The food was amazing. My husband has spent some years in the far East and says the spring rolls were the best he'd ever tasted. The staff were lovely and the over all atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. We'll be back.

The staff were welcoming and very friendly. The food was fantastic. Parking was not an issue and could even leave the car there after we checked out to go and explore the caves. The room was comfortable and a massive bathroom, although could do with a lick of paint. We will be coming back on our next visit to the area

This was a great place to stay when staying in Cheddar. There is a large car park if your driving to the venue. We received a warm welcome from staff. Our bedroom was big and well presented. There was a range of toiletries, drink choices (tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc) and even some nibbles. We had both a separate bath and shower. The room was light and airy. There was many lovely choices for breakfast and the morning staff were very friendly and happy to give information on the local area. The only downside was the lack of soundproof of the rooms and the doors didn’t close quietly. I know this is because of the age of the property and reception do offer ear plugs. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent a midweek night whilst visiting the area. Cheddar had an out of season feel with some shops and cafes closed but the Bath Arms was very welcoming. It's a large pub with rooms but it has been tastefully upgraded and our room (Kingfisher) was very spacious with a comfortable bed and enormous bath with separate shower. We ate in the bar area which was cosy with log burners and candles. The food was very nice - restaurant quality and reasonably priced. Good local real ales on tap. Service was exceptional both at dinner and at breakfast the next day. We would return!

Greeted by a friendly, chatty male and immediately takien to our table. We all had the most amazing roast dinner (pork, chicken and a nut roast) with a side of cauliflower cheese. Amazing quality food, lovely spacious restaurant space. Honestly couldn't fault a thing.

Overall really friendly welcome and we would happily stay again when in the area. Great food at reasonable prices. Complimentary snacks & water in the room. Highlight was sitting by the log-burner on both evenings and enjoying the atmosphere! There was a small mix-up regarding our arrangements for dinner on the second evening which the hotel spotted and phoned us to discuss how to resolve. The fact that they phoned us (rather than us finding out) was excellent. And the (successful) efforts by the hotel (Murray) to resolve the matter were exemplary, Thank you to everyone for a fabulous couple of days.

Very nice pub and restaurant about 10 mins walk from the centre of town. Food very tasty and I can highly recommend the French onion soup as a starter. Staff extremely friendly and restaurant nicely laid out. Parking plentiful and would definitely return.

Can’t speak highly enough, we stopped in for a quick pub lunch. Immediately made to feel welcome, the place had a busy, friendly atmosphere with a few log fires going. Food was all extremely tasty and to a quality I though was fair with the price. Puddings were exceptional though. Staff were happy to mix and match some items from the kids menu for both mains and desert. Also they were just the right level of attentive, without being intrusive. I would thoroughly recommend. Thanks.

What a lovely pub, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, our Labrador was welcome into the pub, there was a good choice of local beer, the fire was lit on a wet day. We throughly enjoyed our visit and felt very welcomed. The pub had a homely feel about it, we didn’t eat but would return for a meal as the menu had a variety of choices
