This was our second visit to the Stables and once again we had a lovely stay. For 8 eight friends the 4 spacious bedrooms all en-suite are perfect. The house is very comfortable and well equipped for self catering in the huge kitchen diner. One of our group is a wheelchair user and the space and accessibility of the Stables is excellent. The weather was good during our stay so we were also able to enjoy the lovely gardens. The owners are friendly and helpful and left us a generous welcome pack including delicious scones, jam and cream. Location is good for visiting the pretty Wells and it is possible to walk into Cheddar avoiding the main road. We would highly recommend the Stables for a comfortable, relaxing holiday with friends or family.

We had such a lovely stay last year that we came back again. With 4 large, luxury en-suite bedrooms, this is just perfect for a family get together. Lovely welcoming touches with a bottle of wine, cake, cheese and pickle!! Thank you! Everything spotlessly clean. The super spacey kitchen is very well equipped. We enjoyed the snug lounge area in the evening with a roaring log fire. We will definitely come back again next year, God willing.

This is undoubtedly the best holiday house rental we have stayed in and we’ve stayed in many over 30 plus years. This is luxury accommodation with a home from home feel. An impressive drive takes you to the accommodation set in stunning grounds. The 4 large comfortable bedrooms with well equipped large en-suites have access to their own patio area with table & chairs for that morning cuppa. A large lounge with comfy seating & woodburner. The well equipped kitchen & dining room was well stocked with quality crockery etc. A fabulous welcome with flowers, wine, fresh milk and cake was a lovely touch. Underfloor heating made this impressive accommodation very cosy. The stunning hall was the icing on the cake. All rooms led off this hall. Plenty to see & do in the local area. We thoroughly recommend The Stables At Nyland Manor.

We stayed in the four bedroomed self-catering house. This is a really great accommodation in a lovely area. The house itself is in a quiet secluded area with an easy off-road walk into shops -Sainsbury, Tesco express and local shops; Shops etc a very short ride by car. There are 4 bedrooms off a corridor, all are large and all with an ensuite- all have direct access to a patio off with chairs and table. The kitchen is large with all equipment you could want, 2 ovens, large hob, loads of crockery etc EVEN balloon Gin glasses and a table that easily sits 8 The lounge has a wood burner and again easily sits the 8 people. The outdoor area has chairs and patio tables off the kitchen and a large table with 8 chairs round in the garden (weather permitting). The house is ideal for exploring area- Cheddar Gorge, Somerset levels, Wells, Bath, Glastonbury, the Thatchers brewery and many other attractions. We were a group of 4 couples (ex school friends, all over 65) who explore different areas of the country on our annual meet up and all agreed this is the best accommodation we have ever stayed in. We would thoroughly recommend this accommodation

We had had to reschedule at the last minute our family gathering (six adults and a dog) but Rachel was very understanding. Everything here is on a grand scale : enormous bedrooms, spacious kitchen, big comfy lounge and ample grounds for walks with dogs. We arrived on a wet afternoon but the underfloor heating made everywhere nice and warm. The welcome pack was generous too. The luxury made for a happy and memorable weekend.

We stayed at The Stables as a party of 9. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and has lovely decor. The hosts have added lots of little touches to make it really special, such as dog biscuits, coffee pods for the machine, hairdryers in all the rooms, the badminton set, and a large choice of board games. The kitchen was really well stocked with good quality crockery and cooking implements. Our children loved the wide variety of animals around the place, and being able to roam the large gardens in safety. The welcome pack was very welcome, with eggs laid by hens in the garden, and local bacon and farm milk. The cake didn’t last long! The high standard of fixtures and fittings made our stay really enjoyable. Indoor and outdoor space has been really well thought out. This is a lovely place to stay, with lots going on nearby to entertain. We would definitely recommend.

We absolutely adored our stay at Nyland. We were travelling down from Cornwall and found this the perfect stop. The room was perhaps one of the most glamourous we've ever stayed in! I enjoyed a long, hot bath in the gleaming bathroom, listened to Poirot on the radio and slept very well in the big stylish bed. We loved looking out of the patio doors at the garden and the chickens, and breakfast was delicious. The owners were extremely friendly and kind towards us. I was a bit unwell and they checked in on us regularly, left the gates open should we need to drive out in the night, and even asked again in the morning how I was. I didn't want to leave in the end, it was all so lovely. Special mention too, to the St Bernard, who showed me his tummy. Perfect stay, couldn't recommend enough. Why am I not there right now?

Beautiful B&B accommodation. Spotlessly clean. Rachel and Nick (and family) could not have made us more welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Lounge with wood burner available for evening relaxing. Top notch breakfast. Best place we have stayed for a long time. Highly recommend.

Stayed one night, 7/12/19 while visiting friends in Cheddar. Quite simply, if you want quality, Nyland Manor is for you. A warm welcome, spacious rooms, comfortable large bed, a fabulous breakfast. Only a mile outside Cheddar, in lovely grounds. Free WiFi and parking, great facilities. Highly recommended. Thanks 😊
