A large, beautiful room. Huge bed, lots of extras on condiment tray. Lisa and John were great hosts. A delicious, wholesome breakfast. Hotel full of quirky paraphernalia. Pristine clean throughout. Looking forward to revisiting. They have the only private car park in Dunster.

Dunster Castle hotel is lovely. We stayed for one night and were made to feel very welcome by John and Lisa. Our room was beautiful - and was just like the photo! Spotlessly clean and nice little touches - sherry, chocolates and yummy biscuits. Breakfast was excellent. Very good choices and all cooked superbly. The hotel is perfectly situated in the village and having the carpark is a real bonus!! Its a bit of a leap of faith to drive through the archway but once you get through, the carpark is spacious ( not sure if some of the huge 4x4s would get through and I would advise checking ahead!) Without doubt its one of those places where you think - "that was definitely a great choice" I whole heartedly recommend it. Stylish, friendly , comfortable

We only stayed one night, but were made to feel very welcome. John and Lisa are the perfect hosts, and the hotel is a credit to there hard work. It’s so tastefully presented and gives that touch of luxury. Free parking at the rear of the property is an added bonus, but breath in! Thank you. …We will be back.

John and Lisa are the nicest hosts, they helped us arrange our day out, despite the rain we had a blast walking around seeing the castle. My daughter made friends with another kid staying, nice family environment!

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a pleasant village location. The room was comfortable and well equipped and the owners were cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was really good. Noticed on the first night that there was a dripping tap in the bathroom but didn't report it. However the housekeeper obviously did because the next day it was fixed. All round very satisfactory.
