We stayed for 2 nights and I can honestly say this is the nicest B&B I have ever stayed in. The eclectic decor coupled with the warm welcome and ongoing service provided us with a relaxing weekend in Gastonbury. It is situated bang in the middle of town close to everything you would wish to see including walking distance from...

We booked at short notice and had a wonderful stay. The owner was very friendly without being overbearing. The accommodation couldn't have pleased us more. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was nicely decorated and very clean. The en suite bathroom was very clean and well-fitted with a modern bathroom suite. Parking was convenient and secure, located at...

I stayed at Magdalene House for two nights as part of a whistle stop business trip to Glastonbury. It was not long enough! As usual I enjoyed Debbie's wonderful vegetarian breakfasts, the clean, comfortable rooms with crisp cotton sheets, thick, fluffy towels and Debbie's warm welcome made it a great experience! My only complaint is that 2 nights is really...

Right in the town yet a quiet and perfect location with views out to countryside. Beautiful courtyard front garden. Every detail thought about, plenty of tea and coffee, fresh milk. TV and settee with lovely guide books in rooms with chandeliers. Good breakfast in communal kitchen, introduced to other guests. Even given a parking space in secure rear courtyard.

In heart of Glastonbury town. My room overlooked the ancient Abbey ruins. Immaculate and quiet. TV was a bit small and far away from bed, but everything else was wonderful. Great breakfast and hosts were helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay there again.

Impossible to elaborate on all the other excellent reviews of this place - they're all true. Lovely service (thanks again, Debbie; and by the way we got the house we wanted, neighbour ! Cheers, David and Fran XX), lovely room with views over the Abbey, lovely vegan breakfast too. Magnificent.

I would thoroughly recommend this lovely guest house to anyone. The blend of kindness and efficiency is second to none- we were warmly welcomed by Debbie, who offered us tea or coffee straight away and then led us to a superb bedroom with a stunning view of Glastonbury Abbey and a very comfortable bed. The awards are very well deserved-...

We were lucky to book our room here for the weekend of Easter and a couple of days after. We stayed in the Abbey room at the top of the building. It has simply the best view of Glastonbury that it is possible to get. Out of the window are the Abbey ruins, with the Abbot's kitchen right opposite. The...
