We stayed for a week 2nd to last week in October in Appletree cottage and loved every minute of our stay. The Tor and Glastonbury were in walking distance from the farm, no need to get in the car. We actually walked up the Tor 3 times during our visit. Appletree cottage is quirky, its a 1700 year old building with sloping floors and low ceiling in places, but the cottage is fully equipped if you want to stay in and cook. (Only criticism would be, to update the pots, pans and perhaps have some larger baking trays etc), we cooked every night. The bed very comfortable and there's no noise. Glastonbury definitely worth a visit and the nearest station isn't too far away if you want to go to Bath. Wells is worth a visit, plenty of things to do in the area and lots of walks. The farm has it's own shop on site, fresh meat, bread, vegetables etc, so you can get all you need without going anywhere, including local wines and beers. Highly recommended.

Thank you so much for such a well thought out and kind review. We are so glad you enjoyed your time in Glastonbury and especially here at Middlewick. We love the quirkiness of our cottages and are glad you did too. We appreciate the comment regarding cookware and will definitely look into this. We will also soon be expanding our farm shop and opening our new Cafe, providing healthy, locally sourced food for our guests and local visitors, something to look forward to on your next trip to Middlewick! Many thanks

Stayed in a Glamping Pod for the first time and it was one of the best experiences. Staff were lovely. The whole atmosphere was welcoming. It was nice to see the animals around and feed them. Thank you so much.

Where to start . My friend and I have been travelling to Glastonbury for a few years now and we ONLY stay at Middle Wick Cottages. Why? From the moment you pull up into the car park its as if you have entered a portal of serenity and peace. The warm greetings from the owner and her family welcome us with their array of extended family members the two cute dogs, Chico the Hen who we have spent many hours with around our garden, and the sheep and goats all welcome us in their own sweet way. On settling in and the night drawing in the stars come out in such an array we stare in wonder with the Tor in the distance with the tribal beats of the solstice gatherers descend around the Tor. Lights filling the night sky , the perfect end is to light our fire in the lounge and kick back and chill. At dawn the mist over the landscape envelopes the cottages as we see a beautiful cat in the distance that welcomes us into our day, as the birds swoop above there couldn't be a better setting to enjoy your morning coffee In short Middlewick is the only place you can really stay in Glastonbury for truly peaceful Divine experience from sunrise to the blazing orange sunsets its a must for any lover of mother Gai...

Stayed in one of the glamping pods. Loved every moment. You have all you need for a relaxing break. Sat one evening on the porch having a bbq listening to sheep dog training, then a brass band practising and then a hot air balloon floated over. So peaceful. Pod bed was comfortable, location perfect for sightseeing. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
