We stayed for two nights with another couple. Our rooms were super comfortable --we had a huge bed and an amazing wet room. We were made to feel welcome by every member of staff that we met. Breakfast was excellent. The public rooms are lovely. The house is Georgian, and the décor is a sensitive mix of period and modern.... More

We stayed for one night on a visit tothe National Memorial Arboretum which is a few miles from here. Excellent welcome, comfortable bedroom, eclectic artwork around the house and a fabulous breakfast choice with a personal touch and great quality. We will certainly stay here again when we visit the area

My wife and I stayed for two nights with friends. This is a picturesque hotel, rooms are spacious, well presented and well equipped. Plenty of choice at breakfast served by very helpful attentive staff. Plenty to do and see around and about. A visit to the National Arboretum is a must.

Stayed here on a couple of work visits and it's really good value for money. Rooms are very stylish but if you want a shower make sure you say as at least one room only has a bath. The stables are quirky but to be avoided when it's warm as a bit stuffy. Breakfast is excellent.

Stayed here for one night as a birthday treat for my wife. It is a large and imposing building very close to the City centre. Parking was available although the car park is quite small. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was of a reasonable size overlooking St Johns Street. The bed was very comfortable and the... More

My husband booked this as a treat for our daughters wedding night. He also booked us a room. We had to book online as when trying to book direct he was told that they were "possibly fully booked" and that as the man on reception was "on another call, would be called back" which he never was. The hotel booking... More

St John's House has been lovingly converted into a really lovely B&B with large well furnished rooms, some great pieces of art and an excellent breakfast as well. We couldn't have asked for better. The staff were all welcoming, helpful and friendly, which goes for the whole of Lichfield actually. I have rarely come across such a good natured town.... More

If you are lucky enough to secure a date for your wedding at St Johns you are in for a treat. We went for the exclusive use package for the weekend and found Dan and Ellie could not do enough for us to make our wedding as perfect as possible. Every request - bizarre as they were - were taken... More
