This is a very central location with safe parking and a wonderfully individual approach. It is family run, and feels like it. This was our second stay here and won't be our last. Breakfasts are delicious, and toms quirkily luxurious.

St John's is ideally located in the middle of Lichfield. The accommodation in the stable block, food and level of service is of a particularly high standard. Really attentive staff and a very helpful owner (Dan). Parking at the rear of the property is very convenient. Very impressed all round.

Stayed here twice and as a company booker use for all my colleagues visiting if the rooms are available. Stayed in both the house and stables and both are lovely but personally prefer the stables. Because parking is a pretty tight squeeze the only suggestion I would have is when turning from the second car park at the rear into...

Family had hired the place for my niece's wedding. Only 9 rooms available so we couldn't stay over. Staff were very welcoming and efficient. Food was superb. All in all a fine experience. Congratulations to everyone involved.

We stayed for two nights with another couple. Our rooms were super comfortable --we had a huge bed and an amazing wet room. We were made to feel welcome by every member of staff that we met. Breakfast was excellent. The public rooms are lovely. The house is Georgian, and the décor is a sensitive mix of period and modern....

We stayed for one night on a visit tothe National Memorial Arboretum which is a few miles from here. Excellent welcome, comfortable bedroom, eclectic artwork around the house and a fabulous breakfast choice with a personal touch and great quality. We will certainly stay here again when we visit the area

My wife and I stayed for two nights with friends. This is a picturesque hotel, rooms are spacious, well presented and well equipped. Plenty of choice at breakfast served by very helpful attentive staff. Plenty to do and see around and about. A visit to the National Arboretum is a must.

Stayed here on a couple of work visits and it's really good value for money. Rooms are very stylish but if you want a shower make sure you say as at least one room only has a bath. The stables are quirky but to be avoided when it's warm as a bit stuffy. Breakfast is excellent.
