Having stayed here on an off over the last year for work, I can say the service has always been fantastic from, Kelly R, Kirsty B. I have always been received with a big smile at the desk even in the early hours! Returning in March 2023 the food has stepped up another level! Rooms are some of the biggest with modern clean shower cubical packing gallons of hot water. Be sure to book a table in advance the restaurant is busy!
We knew what to expect from a Premier Inn but we didn’t expect the genuine welcome and warmth of the staff that made it such a good experience. It was noticeable that there were a number of more mature staff members all of whom were fantastic. The gentleman working in the bar and reception in the evening went out of his way to make me a decaf latte even though this was not an option on the coffee machine. There was a great atmosphere with lots of banter between the staff which might be considered unprofessional in an upmarket hotel but really turned our experience into an enjoyable stay. We only needed a comfortable bed for the night as we were attending a celebration nearby but our trip was made so much better by our experience at the Premier Inn. It’s a great location at the entrance to Trentham gardens and near the shops pub and garden centre with good parking which does get full from shoppers too. Rooms were basic but clean and reasonable size. Standard buffet breakfast. …
I stayed in the hilton just 10 mins away for cheaper than this room cost me yet the service was 10 times better. The room I stayed in was disgusting and not as you would expect I had driven 4 hours to arrive to a room that wasn't very comfortable. If you want a bed down and don't care then enjoy if you want better for comfort then I would avoid.
Excellent Hotel in great location. Food and accommodation all very good and reasonably priced. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Trentham Gardens are next to the hotel and make for an interesting visit; the garden centre and shopping area added to the experience. A whole day could be easily spent in the area.
So I was there for business about 30 of us . On checking in we were told no Gas so couldn't eat but the team at reception. Andy and the team informed us with updates and when everything was back working we got tables booked and and was served by a very nice team ( kurtis) ( young lady surname B) everyone was so nice on the evening . Thank you excellent service .all problems solved very well.
As we expect from Premier Inn the room was comfortable and clean with all the facilities that we always encounter. The Inn was on the park complex and there was a wide range of chalet type shops , some fairly high end. The complex included many different types of eateries and restaurants and coffee shops. While we were there, two night, there was a circus which we didn't take advantage of. It is located only 10 minutes away from the Wedgewood pottery factory/outlet/museum, well worth a visit.
Probably one of the noisiest hotels I have ever stayed in. I am told that If my room had been facing the A34 it would have been worse. The self closing doors are very loud and slam. You can hear clearly anyone walking or talking in the corridors. There was some kind of function over the weekend that involved youngsters. Several rooms adjacent to mine had the doors wedged open so it was extremely loud
Based on my experience of staying at many other hotels within this hotel chain. I expected much better that what I got. The worst part was the breakfast, it was awful, cold and tasteless. Definitely not worth what we paid for it. And the service was extremely poor. Staff were not very welcoming and barely present and when they were present they were more interested in standing around slagging of other staff than checking on the customers. Our room was okay but having the sink in the bedroom and not in the bathroom was not very hygienic and we repeatedly had issues with the room keycard.
No electrical outlet near the bed and we stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights but we haven't received any room cleaning service the next day of our stay. No new bed sheets/towels on the second day. Breakfast was okay. AC not working very well, we needed to open the window all night.
We were happy to have a room overlooking the bowling green rather than the busy A34 as we like to have a window cracked open at night. We appreciated the electric radiator left in the room as the aircon always seemed to have gone off by the time we arrived back in the evening and the room needed a boost of warmth. Otherwise the room was equipped and comfortable as promised by Premier Inn's advertising. The staff were always smiling and helpful. It was good to see equal opportunities in practice with a member of the breakfast team having Downs Syndrome. She worked efficiently and politely within her role. Our only concern was the lack of a security door between reception and the room corridors operated by the guests' keycard. This has always been in place in other Premier Inns we have stayed at.…
