The customer car park is not on the grounds of the hotel and does not feel secure at all. there is no fencing around it and I didn’t see any cctv. Not great when parking costs £7.50 per night. the breakfast is stupidly expensive for what it is. £12 per person for some chewy sausages, chewy bacon, and beans with a skin on. This was the same on both mornings despite going for down for breakfast first thing when you’d expect it to be fresh. none of the food is covered which is gross and it was only sort of warm. I ended up with a dodgy stomach. A Premier Inn has a MUCH better breakfast and much cheaper too. (Hint, there’s one next to it). We tried room service. cost £64 for two pepsi and two main meals. ridiculous. especially when we had to phone and ask them to bring us cutlery so we could eat the damn thing. Oh, and the fire alarm went off at 1am for a few minutes then got switched off and nobody told us why or even apologised. I really would not recommend staying here. Honestly, just don’t.

Hotel's Favourite
I am a blind guide dog user and this hotel was totally accessible throughout.Just back from a few days spent staying in The Hilton Gardens Hanley. I cannot stress how wonderful and helpful the staff are, nothing was too much trouble. Fully accessible throughout and Tillie was welcomed everywhere. She has had an amazing time. Big spending area to the front for grass or concrete preferences. Plenty of bins for deposits. Help with luggage on arrival and departure. Lifts very spacious with Braille and tactile numbers. Gym also fully accessible with fully accessible laundry room. Definitely will return again. For anyone who wants to visit Trentham gardens and village, Monkey Forest Trentham, Alton Towers, Various museums throughout, (Regent Theatre, Victoria Hall and Hanley bus station which are all within walking distance from hotel) I fully recommend 🙂. Everywhere was lovely and clean.

The room was lovely and clean. Extra large bed, clean linen and towels. The food in the restaurant was lovely, waiting staff where very helpful and didn't keep us waiting. Breakfast was self serve but fresh and hot. Within walking distance to the Theatre, and town centre. Parking was a bit of a nightmare to find the Hotels car park, which you have to pay £7.50 for. And the lift, well that was something else lol. The receptionist didn't tell us that we needed to use the room key to open the lift doors to get out. We got in, went to the 3rd floor but the doors didn't open. We pressed the emergency bell twice but no one came. Luckily someone from the ground floor pressed for the lift so down we went, doors opened for them to get in, so I got out and walked up lol.

We only visited Six restaurant but glad we did not stay as well. We were the first to arrive around 5.30 pm so service should have been swift and attentive. It was not. We ordered cocktails and light bites but the cocktails came after the food was served. When the drinks finally arrived, one of them was overfilled and slopped over the table as it was being served. We had to use three serviettes to mop it up. Sadly, when we ordered a second round, the glasses were again overfilled and dripping. The toilets were a disgrace with two out of three locked and the only one available had a broken sanitary bin with exposed waste.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share feedback from your recent stay! I am happy to hear you found the rooms and the service to be good. In terms of the breakfast we do offer alternative egg options - the chefs are more than happy to do this at the guests request. I am sorry to hear you weren't as pleased with the breakfast and the items weren't replenished enough, this is feedback I will share with our kitchen team. We hope to welcome you back again in the future! Kind Regards, Chloe - Front Office Supervisor

Wow! We stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the hotel nor the staff. Arrived a little early, and was checked in straight away. We had booked a twin room and were allocated the 6th floor, which was ideal. Room was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. 2 decent size single beds, room Was a decent size, Bathroom again good size and spotlessly clean. We had booked bed/breakfast and evening dinner. Food in the restaurant was good, breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Restaurant/ bar staff were great, special mention to Roberto who was really attentive and nothing was to much trouble. Also need to give a special mention to Jasper on Reception, he was a total star, so professional, really friendly an absolute credit to the hotel, nothing was to much trouble for him and never stopped smiling. Already told him I will see him when our football teams meet each other next season! I look forward to returning, and will definitely recommend the hotel.

Last minute choice to come here so glad we did. From the moment we arrived we could tell it was brand new and everything was top quality. The room was large well set out and a pleasure to stay in. We had a few drinks in the lounge and that was very relaxing and not a bad price. Our favourite thing was you had to use the room key to move from the ground floor up manning it very secure I’d definitely stay here again

An expensive king room Suggesting a seating area and tea and coffee making facilities are available when it is a kettle and a tea bag is overselling the situation. And satellite television is BBC one and two. When I commented tje about this next morning I was told I should have called the desk (it was midnight). Sadly blaming the customer for the poor facilities and standards is just adding in poor service.

Dear mylynch358864, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback of your stay with us. It is disappointing that your television did not work as it should and our staff are on hand to help 24/7 no matter the time of night we would have done our upmost for you. We hope that you will consider staying with us again in the future. Kind Regards, Reception Team
