A good location to stay for access to Durham and Teesside. Some excellent places for you to dine or have coffee in Sedgefield centre. More or less central to Durham, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough and Darlington.

Was a good stay. Just a few things that needed sorting to make it perfect! Plug sockets to close to shelf so charger didn't fit and straighteners didn't fit in plug without breaking wire! Bed throw was filthy looked like someone had thrown eggs at it! But we took it off. Was okay for the money

As with most Travelodges - a bare knuckles hotel that are generally decent when you know you just need a place to crash for the night. Bed was comfortably, though the pilows definitely were not! Room needed to be clear A LOT better - there were dead bugs all over the shelf above the clothes rail, which remained for our...

We had a family room with two single beds for grand sons, neither of which had a mattress on the base, an extra quilt was provided, which seemed to suffice. It would also have been good to have a table to play games on.

Excellently located, well maintained Travelodge, very friendly service, tidy clean room, comfortable bed, traffic noise significant when window open, bathroom could have been cleaner. There is a tasty Indian Restaurant and petrol station with basic food and drink available on site.

As Travelodges go rooms were nice, and clean towels a bit old and the hotel is in need of a refurbishment. However for one night it is more than adequate, it serves it purpose. It is just over 10 miles from the Kynren event which is well worth a visit

We stayed here Friday evening and had an excellent overnight stay. We arrived at 3.00pm and at the moment I'm using crutches and the guy behind the desk offered us a downstairs room if we wanted to swap. I declined his kind offer as can handle stairs ok. Our room was number 40 on the first floor at the rear....

Not one of Travelodge's finest establishments, but perfectly ok for an overnight break. No breakfast available - only a "breakfast in a box". Very tired bathroom, but everything was satisfactorily clean, except for the windows!

Older travelodge. Clean and big rooms. Reception staff very helpful. Car park is shared with popular Indian restaurant - struggled to find a space on Saturday night. Garage on same site with small shop. Would stay again. But travelodge really need to give free 24/7 Internet

We booked well in advance for two nights and got this at a fantastic rate. Nearer the time we noticed that the prices increased a lot possibly because there was an event on locally. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the bathroom even had a bath as well as a shower. The staff were very friendly and...
