We stayed here Friday evening and had an excellent overnight stay. We arrived at 3.00pm and at the moment I'm using crutches and the guy behind the desk offered us a downstairs room if we wanted to swap. I declined his kind offer as can handle stairs ok. Our room was number 40 on the first floor at the rear....

Not one of Travelodge's finest establishments, but perfectly ok for an overnight break. No breakfast available - only a "breakfast in a box". Very tired bathroom, but everything was satisfactorily clean, except for the windows!

Older travelodge. Clean and big rooms. Reception staff very helpful. Car park is shared with popular Indian restaurant - struggled to find a space on Saturday night. Garage on same site with small shop. Would stay again. But travelodge really need to give free 24/7 Internet

We booked well in advance for two nights and got this at a fantastic rate. Nearer the time we noticed that the prices increased a lot possibly because there was an event on locally. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the bathroom even had a bath as well as a shower. The staff were very friendly and...

Stopped for 2 nights in July 2016. The Lodge was in handy location for getting about. in the North East. Nice friendly staff both on arrival and during our stay.Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotless with everything you need for a short stay. The was an Indian restaurant on the same site, didn't have a meal there...

I have complained directly to travelodge about my issue. We stayed in a family room at the back of the hotel. When the window was opened the room filled with black flies. It was a hot night and obviously needed the window open but it was not possible. We did get a fan but with four people in a room...

very comfortable, very clean, unfortunately we stayed on a very hot day and had the windows open and all the bins were emptied either at travelodge or the indian next door. Very Very noise. Traffic noise was quite bad as its right next to a busy round about but still would stay there again. Pleasant staff very clean.

Good service from staff, very comfortable bed and shower. Usual Travelodge expectations of simple room - clean, well maintained and spacious. Hotel and room did smell a bit peculiar, though not through lack of cleanliness.

Having had some bad experiences in the past with the TravelLodge brand I was a little apprehensive about choosing to stay in one again, but as there were 3 adults travelling and other chain hotels in the area only allowing 2 adults in a room I thought we would give it a try. The hotel was easy to find and...

Well located a few miles from A1 and A 19 on link road. Comfortable beds, clean, hot water, lots of parking, fairly quiet location, fairly priced petrol on site - just ticks all the boxes for what you need folr a stop when you're on the road really.
