Stayed as a party of 8 for a friends birthday. The best thing about this place is the food which is amazing. There are plenty of other reasons to stay. The hotel is not too big or part of a chain and so staff are attentive and accommodating. Grounds are stunning and house beautiful. Accomodation is comfortable.

We were given our overnight stay and dinner as a Christmas present. It was a pleasant, relaxing stay with a good meal. Breakfast was also very good. The building has great character. The staff were friendly, if a bit lackadaisical. Overall, I would be happy to stay again but feel they could tighten up on the quality of the service...

Enjoyable stay, for my daughters wedding which was held at the hotel. One or two downsides, the road which you had to walk on to get to the pavilion we quite rough, and very dark. Resulting in being quite wheelchair unfriendly as you couldn't really see the pot holes until the chair went down it. Room was comfortable, and breakfast...

Although this hotel has a good score, my experience doesn't exactly mirror that. Beautiful grounds and lovely looking hotel but staff seem to vary from attentive but uninformed ( what's your house red? Well, we have Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, etc) to a bit unhelpful ( can I just have a sandwich please? We don't do sandwiches on a Sunday...

I have stayed at the hotel on several occasions and this is the only time I experienced a problem in one of the rooms. I contacted the staff on reception and when I explained the situation they did not say "we'll come and take a look" they immediately said they would put me in another room, they upgraded me for...

I needed an hotel near Rushbrooke church where it was my intention to unearth my ancestors, and Ravenwood Hall is only a mile and a half from the church. We arrived early and didn’t expect to have our room ready, but we were warmly welcomed by the receptionist and told that we had been upgraded, which was a very pleasant...

Had already dined in the restaurant last year and found the food and service excellent, so for our 5 year anniversary decided to stay the night. From the time we arrived to when we left, nothing was too much trouble, the staff were excellent and so was the food. Well worth the money, can't wait to go again.

We recently spent a three night stay on full board at the Ravenwood. We found the staff very helpful and polite and the food was excellent. We had the St Edmunds room which was very cosy and quiet and had a lovely view of the grounds. We are planning to return :-)

Visited the hotel as part of a group of 14 for lunch. The food & ambience were excellent but the thing that really stood out was the excellent service. The staff could not have been more professional, friendly & helpful & because of this, despite the number, the whole lunch ran extremely smoothly. We all much enjoyed the occasion, so...
