I absolutely loved the hotel. The staff are very polite and the menu was fantastic. In our busy lives we book for convenience and speed. To me waiting for an evening meal or cooked breakfast here wasn't a headache as the quality of the meals were worth relaxing and waiting for. The room was clean and perfectly in order. A...

Instead of arguing with our children as to where Mum & Dad would be "going" for Christmas 2015 we thought this year we would go away for Christmas and escape the usual hustle & bustle and have a few days "on our own", don't get me wrong, we love our children & grandchildren but after being married for forty nine...

Stayed here for 2 nights in November 2015 as part of a large party. All aspects of the stay were absolutely fantastic, and I cannot speak more highly about the place. On another note, the staff were charming, including the owner, and Sami was simply brilliant.

Needed a place to stay for one night whilst looking for local property. As it as raining and I had booked a mews room they upgraded me to the main building. Lovely room, old and welcoming with 4 poster bed (shame I was on my own!). Lovely staff. Would always stay here when in area again. Recommend

Can't comment about rooms, but felt that the bar and dining room were very relaxing. The menu was full of treats and some intriguing ones too - winter picnic anyone? We had between us, the fish casserole, roast pheasant and ham hock.. no complaints except the price of a glass of wine... but overall we think tis is well worth...

We went to Ravenwood Hall for Christmas 2015 and had a great time. Luke and his staff were polite, friendly and extremely hard working. The room, Mews 6 was clean and comfortable. Not recommended if you are uneasy on a spiral staircase though. Well worth a second visit.

We decided to go away for Christmas and searching the Internet we came upon Ravenwood Hall Hotel. Having booked and in the lead up to our stay I was quite worried by the negative reviews and wondered what we had booked. I am so pleased to say that we had a wonderful time. We stayed in Mews 7 for 3...

Thank you to the staff for providing lovely lunches for the ' Ladies who lunch' on behalf of the NSPCC in the Cricket Pavillion for 2015. The staff have always been friendly and helpful and the food delicious. As well as the lunch, we have interesting speakers, as well as various people bringing along, jewellery, handbags, scarves and other crafts,...

I was a guest at this lunch, held in the Pavilion, 3days ago. The turkey was sliced from a caterers "roll", as was the stuffing. Both were inedible. The plate was awash with thin light brown liquid which was spilled onto the floor when the plates were removed. Why was the "gravy" not served separately? The dessert was Christmas pudding,...
