We were looking for a place to stay near Cambridge as my Son was playing football the next morning. The hotel was small, friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked through the door and we were personally shown to our room, which was a nice touch. The hotel is old, with charm and the family room we had was...

Stopped here for one night recently and have to say the owner/staff were great. We were travelling to a wedding and arrived early and they arranged to have our rooms ready way in advance of the usual check in time. Nice breakfast and a good nights sleep. What more do you need.

We just wanted a base for the night this place was perfect. Not to expensive and reasonably located. Breakfast included. Room bit dated but large size with on suite plenty of space for clothes. View Lovely from the window with ample parking of road.

Booked for a cream tea with drinks and sandwiches for a group,of 20. Excellent value for money, lovely staff and wonderful surroundings. Thank you to everyone on duty for making us so welcome and keeping us supplied with tea and juice.

I am so glad we booked to stay here. A quaint and cosy hotel in the sleepy village of Exning. Don't expect a fancy, modern interior what you get is comfortable and warm with friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you to Emma who gave us the four poster room with a great view of the Victorian garden. A spacious room...

Calling it a country house hotel might be stretching it a bit but it is a charming hotel with a lovely garden and good standard accommodation at least in the garden room I occupied. The staff were cheerful and helpful and the breakfast was not bad at all. Good situation close to Newmarket. Just one small niggle: one of our...

Booked as an overnight stay to provide access to the local area at a modest cost ...so didn't have high expectations. However, it was a very pleasant surprise to find food and accommodation to a high standard with extremely friendly staff. It is an old building so expect high ceilings with creaky floorboards and a modest en suite. However the...

We used the hotel as a base when visiting relatives in the area. As we were checking in quite late, the management called us to ensure we had good directions to get there and to find our room. We were in one of the garden rooms and were delighted with this when we arrived. We had been left refreshments in...

I was in a 'lets support the local community' and small businesses frame of mind when on a business trip so opted to check in at this country hotel instead of one of the better known chains in the area. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of service I received from start to finish. The...

We have dined at the Rosery Hotel, Exning, Nr. Newmarket for many years. The food is reliably good, excellent value for money and the staff are competent and polite. The Restaurant is well set out with plenty of room and can also cater for large parties. Large Car Park. Well worth a visit, you will not be disappointed.
