What a fantastic experience staying at the Granary - the first time I have had no complaints whatssoever on booking a holiday. Everything was perfect, the location, the accommodation, the service and the food - absolutely A1 - thank you Julian and Leah! Debby and Tommy (and Bremner) from Leeds - stayed at the Granary 8, 9 and 10 July...

Thanks for taking the trouble to write such kind words. We did enjoy having all three of you to stay, and particularly the finale: a personal serenade by Tommy!

We stayed for 24 hours for a local wedding. Julian and Leah were brilliant at communicating at all stages of the booking process through to the detail of our arrival. The room we stayed in was super-comfy. If you don't love the breakfast then there's something wrong with you. Having stayed at Seckford Hall before (where the wedding was) we...

It was an absolutely lovely B&B with very sympathic hosts! The room is separated from the main house, so perfect if you want to come back late or whatever. it's very charming, very comfortable bed. it's in iron so it makes a little noise but nothing alarming. the breakfast is delicious! We suggere that you sell your muesli! For sure, it...

Great Bealings is a good base for visiting this part of Suffolk. We enjoyed our two nights at the Granary. The room is pleasantly furnished and a reasonable size but I thought lacked character. The bed was comfortable but, as a three star reviewer has said, squeaky. The TV was also too small for the room, but OK for listening...

Thanks so much for taking the trouble to submit a review. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay. We will have to go and check out the Larder ourselves again soon, as it is getting mentioned a lot by our guests.

If anyone doubts that a good bed and breakfast can be better than an hotel they should stay here for a few days. Its not just the beautiful room in a perfect country setting or even the lavish breakfast, its the overwhelming care and attention Julian and Leah put into everything they do. Watch the breakfast evolve as you stay....

We have stayed at The Granary twice now and have nothing but praise. The ensuite room is thoughtfully decorated and the hosts are both friendly and accommodating. And the breakfast. We were talking about the breakfast weeks prior to our second visit. Thank you again, we will be back soon!

This is now our first choice in the area. A lovely, comfortable room; a great location; and a world-beating breakfast. A tray of croissants, bagels and toast, and amazing fresh berries and yoghurt with delicious nutty granola. The sort of bed linens that encourage you to linger under the duvet...hard-boiled eggs from their very own collection of hens...pheasants wandering about...

... but not too far from the best Suffolk has to offer. A lovely converted barn just right for a weekend get-away for two - and with some style. Comfortable, spacious and above all warm and cosy. I need not repeat the comments regarding breakfast except to say sadly you'll never buy the granola Leah serves. Talented and charming hosts...

Julian and Leah were great hosts who made us feel welcome from the instant we met. The room's location in the restored granary, separated from the main house, was very private, quiet and peaceful. It was a very comfortable room. Julian provided suggestions for area pubs and restaurants. The two we tried on his advice were very good choices. The...
