We held out daughters wedding here in the Tithe Barn. The pre wedding planning, the organisation on the day, the food, the service, the rooms, everything went off very eell and is still a major talking point amongst family and friends. The Tithe Barn is magnificient and provided the perfect backdrop to the wedding. Not cheap but then the good...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We went to the hotel restaurant for a family celebration. My brother-in-law had booked and let them know the varied dietary requirements. They didn't bat an eyelid and said they could cope with that. We arrived and were sat straight away on comfy sofas. The tables were cushioned (more footstools) and we were not sure how that would work but...

This hotel is perfectly located at the base of Box Hill with signposted walks almost from its front door and plenty of Surrey's attractions a short walk or drive away. We stayed for three nights in a standard room in the older part of the hotel and have no complaints at all. The public areas look recently refurbished and has...

We were sat in front of the fire and it was all set up for us to sit straight down, within 10 mins we had the selection of teas to choose from, and our afternoon tea selection came out and was very moreish!! My mother has an egg allergy and they catered for needs very well, they brought out sandwiches...

We had a small team meeting at this hotel and were left with decidedly varied views on the hotel. The entrance, restaurant and bar areas are very inviting - really nicely laid out and decorated. The meeting rooms, however, were not. Stuck right at the back of the hotel overlooking the river, they really are in desperate need of an...

Nice hotel located near Box Hill Station in Surrey. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station. Reception is only a desk as you walk into the hotel which causes guests to queue up at the main entrance especially at check out and it's not very private. The hotel however is a modern hotel with decent facilities and the...

We stayed here two nights for a wedding, as a wedding venue it is very good, the food and the surrounding's on the wedding day were excellent and we had a lovely time. Breakfast was a buffet and we had no complaints, the food for the evening meal in the restaurant was good although portions were small. However there are...

The venue is great for events such as weddings which is why I was there. My room was not worth the money I paid, they didn't even have a light bulb in the bedside lamp, the remote control did not work and it wasn't very clean. At check in I was offered to prepay for my stay. They failed to...

Stayed here for one night only, although on a busy road it has a lovely garden area with pool and picnic area. Looks like it has been done up fairly recently. Room was spacious and clean. Staff very friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. Literally at the foot of Box Hill so would have been great place to...

Went for a dinner as part of a group of 20 people, followed by a nights stay. No negatives at all. Very comfy hotel with lovely furnishings and extremely friendly staff. Our room was very clean, as you would expect, and catered for all our needs, with no added extras. We were given The Garden Room for our dinner as...
