Great service, the room was outstanding. Everything was clean and fresh. Staff were amazing, so willing to help. Food was just the best. Nothing was ever a problem we felt like we were royalty. Just a lovely hotel just far enough away from the main town that the noise did not reach us. the view from our room was brilliant as we could see all the way down the Tyne. I had arranged for a greeting package for our arrival. I was perfect and so well presented it brought my partner to tears of happiness. Just the best time away ever.10 out of 10 all round

This is a combination of my first outstanding review. I described how the staff was amazing but I was unable to mention all the staff but I did miss off Jack. Jack show a high level of professionalism and great customer engagement. I just can't wait for a warm sunny day for a return trip and a few cocktails in the courtyard.

We stayed in the Cristal Suite and it was lovely! The hot breakfast was delicious and as a coeliac, they had GF options as well. Drinks at the bar were wonderful and the lounge was very relaxing and comfortable. Our room had a lovely large bed, wonderful sectional couch and good views! My favourite was the soaking bath tubs on the upper mezzanine! Wish they had been a bit deeper but very relaxing. The only downsides were the large amount of dust in the alcove above the bed, the flickering lightbulb and the fact that one of the lights wouldn’t work at all. Otherwise it was lovely and we would stay again happily!

Yet another amazing stay at HDV Newcastle. This hotel never ceases to amaze! Everything about it screams quality and luxury. We have stayed many times before and each stay is a different experience, due to the uniqueness of the rooms. There are no two rooms alike and therefore no matter how many times you stay , it’s excellent! The one thing that shines is the professionalism, attentiveness and friendliness of the staff team. They go out if their way to ensure the guest experience is second to non ! A huge shout out to Gary who always goes that extra mile to ensure every need is catered for and your stay is of the utmost comfort and nothing is too much trouble, you only have to ask! Another shout out to Andy who once again never lets us down and will accommodate guests wishes where at all possible, making every stay more special than the last! Taking the time to chat to guests and respond to any queries without a second s thought. It must be said tho, every single member of the team are absolutely amazing and ensuring customers have a fantastic stay is clearly high up on their agenda! Well done to each and every one of you! So, if your looking for a hotel with high quality, luxury and one different to all other hotels out there. With a uniqueness and attention to detail in Newcastle ? Then look no further, you will never look at another hotel the same again ! Thank you HDV Stephen & Tracey
