Easy check in. Very friendly staff and the room was very clean and pleasant. The hotel is in a fantastic location right on the Quayside which for the price we paid was brilliant. There was nothing to dislike about our experience.

I live nearby to this hotel but fancied a change of scenery for my birthday. Very easy car park can access without checking in first if you speak to the operator with button, and can access hotel through the car park. Reception bright and pleasant staff, easy to find room and room was very spacious and clean, especially for the price. Close to town centre and No issues at all during my stay.

I have had guest experience in lodges in edinburgh & newcastle and I agree with guests reviews post my review here . I first stayed here in february and thought my stay can't get any better than this , I've stayed twice since and it just gets better each stay on a different level of travelodge hospitality. This travelodge is on a different level across the board and it's location in newcastle is quite simply unbeatable and unrivalled. If ever there's a template for travelodge, this is it . A team that just doesn't care , but go above and beyond for that memorable guest stay experience. Spotless clean room , well priced selection of beers , breakfast great value , hot and replenished regularly, good evening meal menu , and of course all staff that go above and beyond as nothing is too much and top class service is always with a smile .

Great Location on the Quay, very central. Great Large Rooms and bug comfy bed, could do with better wardrobe space etc, but otherwise OK. Staff very helpful. Did not have andy meals there but what i saw looked good. There is a Wetherspoons very close by and I like real ale which Travelodge does not supply. Will be back next year
