Great hotel clean spacious and welcoming the guy on reception was really helpful too. I would recommend this hotel as the location was great parking was not an issue either. The cleaner was polite and helpful also. Only 1 lift was working but that did not impact our stay.

Stayed here with my Mam for one night as part of a deal. We were warmly welcomed by Chanelle and delighted to receive two complimentary drinks vouchers. Chanelle was so helpful and friendly and told us everything we needed to know. We were thrilled when we saw our room (415) as it had the most incredible view of the Tyne with floor to ceiling windows. It was a lovely room and very clean. The beds were really comfy. We had drinks in the bar in the evening and had a smashing time. We loved it so much we have already booked to come back in the summer! Thank you to all at the Copthorne.

Spent our anniversary here for the 2nd time now and we love it. Staff always friendly and go above and beyond. Room is comfy and food is 5 star. Worth the price. Breakfast always has a good selection of options and is freshly prepared. Hotel bar is reasonably priced and offers a good selection of drinks. Will definitely be booking again for the 3rd year

Stayed for the weekend and finished off with a Sunday lunch before we left. Overall experience was brilliant and the Sunday lunch was one of the best I've had in a while with big portions and fair prices. All the staff were brilliant but an extra shout out to Janet and Lizz for the extra friendly interpersonal service.

Greetings! i stayed in this hotel recently and was very impressed with a great service of Mrs Niamn. She created a great atmosphere, so I felt more then welcomed. And also wanted to say a huge thanks to Mr. Kevin, the plumber, he is the best ! he unblocked a faucet and also tried to help in my personal request to fix a suitcase, which was broken a bit. Really good hotel the room's are spacious with comfortable beds and a nice view over the river Tyne. The staff are excellent, very helpful and polite and the food was very good. The hotel is definitely worth the money, we stayed for 1 night after going to the arena for a show and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

The photos don’t really represent the condition of the hotel. Walkways and common areas could do with a little TLC. On site parking is a real plus. Reception was really friendly and attentive. One of the lifts was out of order throughout my visit. Making journeys to and from the 4th floor painfully slow. Location is outstanding and the view over the river is pleasant. My room was clean, comfortable and good value for money. I’ll definitely return. A bit of a spruce up and it’ll be 5 stars all day long.

I am really sorry to have to say this but the room we booked with booking.con was not the room I asked for. As we entered the room, it was dusky , the door handle to over looking view was broken, the telephone was dusty as I contacted reception. The kindly changed our room, the 2nd room the view was quite nice, however the heating system was not working, infact it came off the wall. The food was a no no for me, sorry, in the centre of the restaurant there were 2 large buckets and yellow signs, there was a leak🙈. Infact they should Not have been serving food to customers due to health and safety, hygiene. In the end they gave us a full refund. The manger I must say was lovely and validated my car parking. The hotel needs updating , tender care, all the staff are very friendly and lovely. The hotel has amazing views, it just wasn’t our type of hotel. sorry …

We were with G line Coach Holidays and spent 4 nights at the hotel. Our room was very pleasant with a fantastic view of the Tyne and various bridges. We were on a bed breakfast and evening meal basis and every meal was tasty, hot, well cooked and presented by the kitchen brigade and professionally served by the restaurant team. We found all the staff friendly and helpful. Thankyou team Copthorne.

Very comfortable room with fabulous view, friendly staff and delicious dinners - what's not to love? The only issue was one of the lifts was out of action....and there were only 2 to start with. Otherwise great.
