4 of us stayed here for one night with two twin rooms on the second floor either side of the corridor. The reception area was very smart but the lift must be the smallest hotel lift I have ever seen.Takes 2 people as long as they have no luggage!! My wife and I had the room overlooking the car park...

My wife and I stayed at the Caledonia Hotel last weekend for a visit to Newcastle to watch the football and go to a concert. The hotel is in a nice area of town, the city centre is walkable in about twenty minutes but there were plenty of taxi's if you can't be bothered walking. We had a room on...

This hotel offers excellent value. It is located in the centre of Jesmond village close to all the amenities, especially West Jesmond Metro station. The hotel room is comfortable and clean. Check on and out was very quick. Great stay. Thanks

I can honestly say I was gutted when the company we booked with changed the hotel due to numbers dropping. I was pleasantly surprised to sat the least. What a fabulous hotel. In the heart of a buzzing upcoming town. Breakfast standard buffet style so can't go wrong. Staff friendly enough and can't do enough for you. All in all...

I find it difficult to fault this hotel,if I had to it would be that the bedroom was very dated, The location was ideal, the staff very friendly and helpful . I was with a walking party, and a packed lunch was provided..not that it was required after a hearty buffet breakfast!m I would revisit this hotel without hesitating. Pauline

Stayed on a Saturday night for an event in the city. When we arrived they were unable to find our booking, despite it being booked a week earlier via Trivago. Eventually we got a twin room at the back of the hotel. The room decor was very tired. The carpet looked circa 1970's and there were still some faux-teak furnishings....

Can't comment on hotel as didn't make it through the door due to booking error made by hotel. Booked via late rooms for great north run to get call as I was arriving in Newcastle to say I didn't have a room. Late rooms say it is hotels fault who will except no responsibility for error as they offered me...

Excellent location. The triple room was adequate although it did need upgrading. We didn't use the restaurant, the staff were helpful and friendly ,however I do think the room was very expensive for what it was but I expect it is what the market will take on this weekend

As a solo traveller simply can't fault. Attentive but non imposing. I was really impressed with staff - caring, attentive and efficient. Menu reads better than reality, but that's down to personal taste. Overall very impressed.
